Simple question, what is the cause of so much criticism of Trump.

Why is there SO MUCH criticism of Trump?

That's my first instinct. I'm hoping there's some high IQ logic driving this event that's ready for the various out comes.

Slight tangent, I'm thinking when the plans are released, it's going to be dated some where between 2021 and 2024 with Biden's initials on the corners and notes. Not Biden's plan but conceived during his Administration.
Plans like that are created and updated during every presidency. We have plans to invade Tonga, for Chrissakes.

You're right
Targeting brown people trying to get the life they desire with a cruise missile can't be called war.
You mean Houthi pirates?

Are you suggesting that pirate suppression is warmongering?

My point exactly and we're on what? 5 months of Trump?

And? Who sets the ROE for an attack? Who sets the objectives?

Or do you just imagine that they treated existing plans as a straight jacket?

I don't think Trump is smart enough to say hey, pull up the attack plans for Iran and let's tailor them.

I think tit was adjusted to current events and then sold to him by much more intelligent people.

I think Biden did a good job going after the Houthis.
Should've done more to destroy them.
Agreed.

He also didn't give Ukraine enough support. For the same reason.

The jury is still out about what he did.
We need more information and more inspections.

Stick around because I'd love to see you wrong.
I'm not going anywhere.

So is pirate suppression warmongering?
Not in my book. It's common sense defense and enduring the safe trade for the world. But would be nice to see the entire ME assist or take care of it.

Iran has been sponsoring it.

And which giant ME navy should have dealt with it? I mean, the Red Sea is way more important to the West than the ME.

Yes, which is a good potential outcome of taking out some of Iran's war making infrastructure.

Just a single (mild) epithet for a leader you despise?
You can probably say that on network TV an get away with it.
THIS is not a TV network. So let me repeat: Trump is a jackass.
Now if you can't deal with my opinion, cry me a river. Find someone else who might care if you are upset about Trump being called a jackass.

There is SO much criticism of Trump, in the fake news media, in the leftist leaning of forums like this one. We should be talking about the failure that was Joe Biden's presidency instead of always picking on Donald Trump.

BUT why is there THIS much criticism of Trump?

Poll choices above and you can make up your own "theories."

Most of it is people that have way too much time on their hands mixed with feelings of righteousness as well as soothing a victim complex.

.

Character.

He has none.

Not much...

This is a man while running for president proudly exclaimed he can grab any woman by the '*****' and get away with it.

Not any woman... but women that are essentially groupies... yes.

He is a convicted rapist and fraud.

No. He was not convicted of rape.

What's to like? He's a lying pig.

All politicians lie.

The most VALID criticism of Joe Biden is he is BORING!

And that he might be a pedophile. Sniffing little girl's hair and touching girls and women inappropriately is gross.

I must be astute to where I appropriated the same Reagan quote that you appropriated.
;) No worries.

Re NYC and its descent into Socialism, I wonder if most citizens there will be smart enough to stick with Eric Adams instead of Mamdani the full-blown self-declared Socialist.
So glad I will never live there again. Fifteen years for me was enough.
Never lived there, never want to live there, refuse to travel there or spend any money there, end of story for me.

I'm not upset. But I think Democrats are upset because a jackass is their political symbol.
But since your grasp of U.S. political symbols doesn't really matter to you, it's a moot point who you call a jackass.
Interesting you should call the most powerful politician in the entire world who won the presidency twice an animal who is labeled as "If you call someone a jackass, you mean they are very stupid or they have done something very stupid."
What has Trump done that you would call stupid?

A connection with Democrats

In 1828, Andrew Jackson ran for president as the candidate of the new Democratic Party, which had been created from splintered factions of the Democratic-Republican Party.
Jackson, the blunt-spoken backwoodsman and war hero, was widely criticized as a “jackass” for advocating populist reforms.
He responded by using the image of the jackass on his campaign posters.
“Jackson embraced the image as the symbol of his campaign,” Jimmy Stamp wrote in Smithsonian magazine, “rebranding the donkey as steadfast, determined, and willful, instead of wrong-headed, slow, and obstinate.”
Jackson won the election, and the jackass first became associated with Jackson and the Democratic Party.
More than 40 years later, after the Civil War, a political cartoon really popularized the image of the jackass as the symbol of the Democratic Party.

He's probably the world's biggest asshole in the purest definition.

But there have been some things from him I like and feel are needed.

I still would never be able to vote for him.
Me too.
I still would never be able to vote for him. we agree on that.

Let's have a drink to that.

Continues to deny being upset but continues on these long screets. Go figure.

You mean "screeds" about which I am not upset.
I understand called Trump "stupid" is a typical insult when someone has no way to back up such an insult.
Trump is not only stupid but a jackass. Sorry if saying so hurts your feelings. BUT now that you have made it crystal clear that such comments DO your feelings, can we move on? Or do you want to scream innocent for a little while longer on here?
