Actually the report specifies the attempts to get rid of Mueller. Mueller was selected as a special counsel to investigate Trump by congress. Rather different from an appointment by the president. Mueller also states why he cannot indict for the obstruction charges because of DOJ policies. I pointed out the door for impeachment that the report gives for a reason.

Actually Trump never got rid of Mueller. Second, Congress has no power to indict anyone. Period. All they can do is ask the AG to investigate further the obstruction that Barr and Rosenstein as already said there is no evidence of obstruction. So that bridge is closed. That leaves congress only one option, try to impeach or not. And whatever they use as evidence will be heavily challenged. Now get this, this morning Pelosi and Schumer meet with Trump on a infrastructure bill, and they both said they had a very constructive meeting. So now Congress is working with Trump on infrastructure all the while Congress is working hard to impeach him. Tell me how that works. Collusion and obstruction is dead and gone.

Now that we have FBI vetted proof, would resignation not be the best thing for the country?
