We participate in all sorts of things that are pointless. This isn't really that big of a deal. And I was pointing out a possible reason people might prefer standard time to DST. Changing times isn't a big deal to me personally either way.
or let them ride the bus.
I think this business of changing the time is whack. They should set in one way and leave it there. Whose stupid idea was it anyway?
A thousand times yes, and a pox on Woodrow Wilson for it coming up in the first place.

it is ridiculous to have it daylight till 9:30 in mid summer and 5:30 in mid winter.
Put it all back on Standard time is my preference, but at least quit this oscillation back and forth
IMHO a more important but related topic is should telecommuting; working and attending school from home with the use of technology (computer networking, etc.) be tax incentivized? Kids won't be on the streets in darkness before the sun rises to get to school. Energy needed to power buildings would be reduced. Fewer cars would be on the roads and thus reduced gasoline consumption and other transportation costs.
DST will stay.
Wait and see.
Arizona is one state.
Get back to us when all 50 dump DST.
I don't care which we do- I'd just like to see one or the other, and stop screwing with it. In this day and age, there is no reason for a switch to DST, and it just blows my mind that some people seem to believe it actually gives them more time in a day.
