While I understand that given Trump is the nominee we must come together to defeat him:

There are those in the country who will be put off by Grandpa’s foggy Cornpop tales and warm remembrances of the segregationists of yore.

if I was the DNC, yes, I would hide him as much as possible.

He shouldn't run at

I agree, I wish he would have bowed out gracefully.

But, here we are. I wish someone could talk some sense into him.

I think Biden should rum

He is doing an excellent job.

I can't think of a single person I would rather have.

And he didn't hide in the basement last time. That was just typical Trump and Fox news lies.

Biden was a segregationist in the purest sense.

WTF?

Racial jungles anyone?

You are the poster child of the left's narcissism and denialism.

the strategy of minimizing exposure to Biden was true. The more people see of him, the more his numbers go down. And it paid off, give Trump the rope and let him hang himself.

Cool story, bro. Did you completely misunderstand my post?

It's probably his best look to be seen as little as possible. The media is more than happy to be his attack dog.

What would he be hiding from? In 2020 he had the covid pandemic as an excuse. I don't see that making a comeback.

The POTUS should remain doing his job, not campaigning.

His most effective campaign “tool” is what he HAS delivered during his term and showing him working towards what is still on his agenda.

Send surrogates on the trail.

I agree. Also, as I recall, it was due to the pandemic that Joe Biden was not out around hundreds of people who wore no masks, spreading the deadly COVID-19 virus.

President Biden has the best interest of our country in mind and he proves it on a daily basis. Especially since he's had the trump sucker circus to contend with, he has done an excellent job dealing with important matters. The bloated orange traitor sat an his fat ass driving around in a golf cart and lying to whoever was ignorant enough to listen to the bastard.

Limited exposure campaign regardless of external factors. Biden himself has an issue connecting with voters. He’s gaffe prone and his age is a factor.

Is that really what we're calling it now in Progressive World.
What, it would have been better if Biden had caught COVID and died?
Is that how progs view it now?

A fair point. But, it was a concerted strategy

Nothing like have the progressives around.

The old joke about "Better to have them in the tent pissing out than outside pissing in" has to be amended to "Inside the tent pissing in."

It's as if the Matrix dude offered them the choice of the red and blue pill and they grabbed BOTH and ate them. Nothing else explains it.

It is important to remember that despite occasional appearances, progs are not our allies.

They can only punch to their immediate right. They are useless when actual right wing nutjobs are stomping around. Hell, they're why we got Trump in the first place during the Bernie Bro butthurt thing.

So I don't count on them for anything, unless I have some inexplicable need for postmodern whining.
