Should beaches in the US be nude beaches?

America is a very prudish country for the most part. There seems to be a lot of closed mindedness to the human body.

I think this would be a great idea. i don't see anything wrong with it. maybe they could have a pg and g section for the kiddies but the rest of us can be in the nude. That is if we really think that children should not be allowed to see the naked body. What do you think?

No. I've been to nude beaches and it aint pretty.
 
Obesity Rate in USA

Currently about 31%, or about 59 million people, are obese, which is defined as roughly 30 or more pounds over a healthy weight. Almost 65% are either obese or overweight,10 to 30 pounds over a healthy weight, which increases their chances of developing diabetes, heart disease, some types of cancer and a host of other health problems.....


Until this changes, I vote no for nude beaches.

haha, my husband thought it would be heaven and it was hilarious that the women were over 40, and not in shape, and hanging down and out. I love to give him **** about it still.

I get disturbed when I see a fat, old man in a speedo at the beach as it is. I never want to see one naked on the beach again.

You need to see the beauty in all. Beauty is only skin deep. Yes i know that ugly goes to the bone. But still be nice.

I am not a beauty queen. I never have been but hey we are what we are. Now that I am 57 I am even less of a beauty queen and I am wrinkled besides. I still think it is a grand idea.

My thoughts exactly. I would love to allow for the option of nude beaches, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the same "naked offenders" at the gym locker room would visit nude beaches and the people that actually have something to offer(yes I am including all sexes and sexualities in one branch here) would not be frequenting those places.

I am a veteran of hoggin'. Not only have I seen the obesity unclothed, I have been up in it. There is no beauty to be found.

Exactly. We are so incredibly prudish that it makes me sick. The fact that people in this country already equate nudity with pornography speaks volumes. Unfortunately, I don't see things getting improving because in many ways were more liberal and open about sexuality in the past than we are now. It seems to be regressing in a lot of ways.
 
As long as that prudishness exists, I don't think nude beaches are a good idea. While we may see prevailing customs as prudish, I also think we should respect them. There are some nude beaches in this country, that is enough.

Jesus god that would hurt me. Screw that. If I off them it is with a razor. Wax would be smoother I must admit. At least i will never have to shave my legs again.

I think it still hangs on via our puritanical beginnings. It never has left. I think the sexual repression makes us a very judgmental closed minded people. I love the beaches on France where nudity is a part of life. It is free. It is fresh and it may not be as beautiful as some would hope. It is none the less beautiful.
