I've given Michael Moore the exact same treatment as I have Ann Coulter, that is, I've looked up both their supporters and those who hate them. And I can safely say that I am no Michael Moore fanboy, I diagree with him on a good many of his statments. But I think Ann Coulter is an all around less sensible person that Moore, judging from her statments and actions. Anyone want examples?

Actually, she already tried to run once in Connecticut, as a Libertarian, to get back at a R.I.N.O. who voted to let Bill Clinton stay in office. The Libertarians there were fine with her candidacy except for the fact that she wouldn't make supporting drug legalization her central issue, so they booted her.

But as for the general question, sure, I'd love to see her run a House seat, just not anything higher. Her books are filled with ammunition that can be easily verified and she constantly makes conservatives re-think points they formerly thought had to be conceeded to liberals.

Hmm, did you ever stop to think that the people who deny being liberal might actually, oh I don't know, NOT BE A LIBERAL? I've seen this movie, and I paid ten bucks to do so. I'm a Republican. Going to see or hear the other side's point is part of learning and challenging yourself and others. Just because one attends such a function doesn't make them an extremist of anything, it simply makes them curious.

As for the nature of this thread (which now appears to be more about Navy Pride's credibility or lack thereof), I'd have to say I've had a few discussions with you myself, NP, and at no time have you ever shown yourself to be enlightened, reasonable, or fair. You'd rate among the highest in terms of being quick to throw labels on people, even people that would support you if you weren't so extreme yourself. I don't know how many times you have wrongly accused me of being a liberal (with slanderous intent or insinuations) simply because I didn't buy into the "Any farther right and you'd have to be Hitler" party line.

Navy... Not everyone to the left of you is a communist. Not everyone who disagrees with you is an extremist. Maybe they're simply rational and reasonable, and see the world as you cannot.

Yes, liberal thinking whether a liberal repub or dem etc. doesn't matter. My father mentioned the other day that he only paid 6% of his check to our government way back when. You know, thats a completely fair and logical way of looking at it. Well done. It would be interesting to see if their views or stances change once they are actually in the trenches. After all its easy to be the peanut gallery but to actually be the contender is another story.
