Congressman Mark Foley of Florida is stepping down from his position. Ann Coulter just happens to live in Foley's district of Florida. Republicans need all the wins possible come November. She would be a shoe in if she were to run for Congress.

Oh the Daily Show that would make.......hell yes she should!

Yes !!!

...

Definitely! She should run.......

......................................... and just keep running.

no. she's not a politician, and has never showed any interest or ability in the compromising or tactics required to be a successful politician. She's much more potent for the repubs as a commentator.

I should hope that the nation looks upon Ann Coulter as the face of the Republican Party.

Just think how much money the dems would save getting elected. :rofl

By all means YES. I would love to see Coulter run for Congress.
And I would love to see the Republicans give their 08 nom to Frist or Allen.

Those, America, are the true faces of the current Republican party.

I voted "yes' because there is still room for Republicans to go lower and I believe Coulter could take them there.

Are you guys listening to yourselves?

You are supporting a worthless candidate for personal political gain.

I criticized Navy Pride for the same thing, so Im going to do it here to.

Just like when hardcore conservatives try to claim that Cindy Sheehan is the representative of the Democratic party.

So, I say no, she shouldn't run, she is not a politician, she is an insult thrower at best. Reminds me of a high school kid...

lets see

Graduated top of her class at Cornell
Graduated Order of the Coif and Editor of the Michigan (top 5 law school) Law review

Clerked for a US court of appeals Judge
US Dept of Justice HONORS Program Hire

now that is a better resume than 95% of the sloths calling themselves congressmen or women

shall we examine say Cynthia McKinney or even John the marxist Conyers resume?

what is a "professional politician" what sort of training did most of these toads have before they became congressmen? some like my former congressman Robbie Portman had an impressive resume. some were and continue to be lightweights

Plus, she plagiarizes, so there's no problem with her being too moral.

I'd vote "No," just because I keep praying she'll go away and never darken my consciousness again, and a run for political office would make that less likely, not more. But then, I don't live in Florida, so if they want to elect a whacko to represent them, who am I to judge?

yes, we don't want to fill up congress with whackos

we already had Barney "the boy banger" Frank

Maxine "the moron" Waters-the one who justified the blank gangbanger riots and beating of Reginald Denny

Cynthia "punch the cop" McKinney

Bob "Book me" Ney

Jim "Beam me up to federal prison" Trafficant

Alcyee "IMpeached" Hastings

yep, Coulter were bring dishonor to those upstanding servants of the public

Well, ordinarily I'd say no, because I'd rather have two competent candidates running for an office.

But in this particular year, the Democrats need to take back the House. So yes, Ann Coulter should run. If there's a GOP primary, I'd even donate to her campaign.

GO ANN!

Sh!t! I meant to vote no, but I accidently clicked on the "No, she should run for prez..." Definitely a no, and even a HELL NO, there are already enough extremist clowns in D.C.

she should run for president :rofl :2rofll: :2funny: :2funny:

Hitler was not stupid, neither was Stalin. Chairman Mao probably had a fairly high IQ. Just the same, that does not mean that all three men were not total nut jobs. Ann Coulter's education is not her problem, her problem is that she is hatemongering nut job. Her fans are primarily the radical and most partisan right, usually hatemongering nut jobs just like her. Sure, if you add up the numbers of hatemongering right wing nut jobs in this country, you will certainly have enough people to sell some books, but not nearly enough people to get over 50% of the vote in a an election. Hell, she would be doing pretty good if she got 20%.

Just think of the hysterical hissy fits the moonbat left would go into if Coulter ran. The entire cave would be a swarm of foaming drooling, shrieking rabid ranters engaged in a meltdown of magificent proportions. The party that thinks Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, John Conyers and Pete Stark are mainstream would go into critical mass over someone who doesn't pull punches over how statist-reactionary the faux progressives have become.

The Entertainment value alone-along with the energy expended by the Soros Psychobabblers-dictates in favor of her candidacy

Right, see I think we've already had enough criminals and whackos in Congress, and I don't want more. You seem to think that the way to improve the situation is to elect Ann "So Freakin' Cracked That She Enrages This Apathetic Country In Which Half Of The Adults Can't Be Bothered To Vote, But More Than Half Have An Opinion On This B!tch Strong Enough To Make Them Froth At The Mouth" Coulter.

See, I can think up funny nicknames, too.

Congress needs to be diverse in their opinions, which would be a mark in Coulter's favor; but they also need to be independent, willing to follow their own opinions rather than join the crowd. Coulter is influential enough that she would skew opinions away from where they should be, as people lined up to follow her, or to oppose her, rather than doing what they personally think is right. She would be a polarizing force, rather than a unifying one, and that would not be helpful.

Thats a good point but its not really worth the drama hassle.
At least she would vote for securing the borders regardless of her idiosyncracies. There are plenty of nuts in congress now anyway so that isnt really a good reason to dismiss her entirely.

Unifying is a joke these days with dems selling out this nation in th war against jihad just so those pathetic control freaks can get their greedy paws on the public trough again. I think you all confuse someone who is deliberately provocative but in control over say a nut case like McKinney.

Its like John McEnroe circa 1980 (where his "meltdowns" were as strategically calculated as a Walter Browne Chess move) vs McEnroe circa 1988 where he was out of control as he was bounced from the Australian Open.

dems are used to politicians who are similar to the latter version of Mac and assume people like Coulter are equally impulsive

feel free to find say ten dems with better credentials. Bug-eye Pelosi doesn't come close in terms of intellect. Why don't you start with the dems who will probably be committee chairs if the dems get control
