]But flushing them down the toilet is okay with you?[/B] Gotcha, just wanted to make sure I understood your stance on this "moral" issue.

Is that your best shot? Where did I say that my liberal friend? Why do you continue to make stuff up?

Jerry, you are the only person on this forum i've seen making semantical arguments about "pro-life" vs "anti-abortion".

everyone knows that pro-lifers do not support all life, and that pro-choicers do not support all choices. its just a label. its not a bid deal.

I am pro life and I support all human life.......

It has been made a big deal by pro-choicers who try to call me a hypocrite for being against abortion yet for the death penalty, or in making the "life endangerment" exception.

"Everyone" does not know that pro-lifers do not support all life. The label of my abortion stance was pointed out to me by ShamMol when cornered as to why I could tolerate first-trimester abortion-on-demand. Up to that point I identified myself as pro-life, and suffered accusations of hypocrisy by pro-choicers here because of it.

So you're completely against the death penalty? Funny, 'cause that contradicts quite a few statements you've made around here.

Oh my progressive friend, you walk all to easily into traps. You said that when you expressed your support for the banning of embryonic stem cell research. By banning this type of research you esentially suport the current destruction of the embryos by flushing them down the toilet. Its really a quite simple chain of logic. Also, show me where I said that I was a liberal, or do YOU continue to make stuff up? (Don't bother, we already know the answer)

Except murderers and terrorists, and dictators. Aparently your support of all human life is as washy as your support for morality.

ah ok. the whole thing just seems rediculous to me.

that would make you pro-human-life.
and if you support the death penalty you are pro-innocent-human-life
and if you find civilian casualties in war an acceptable necessity you are pro-american-innocent-human-life.
etc.

Why bother explaining at this point?

No I was speaking about the abortion issue which is the topic of this thread.....There is a huge difference between the death penalty and killing someone who has murdered or raped and butchering of and innocent defenseless baby in the womb and you know it......

I take that to mean that you are not pro-life. You could have said so earlier, would have saved the rest of us some time, don'tcha know.

this is obviously targeted at those of you that are pro-life.

if you are pro-life and support the death penelty, do you believe abortion should be punishable by death? if not, why not?

If you are pro-life wouldn't it be hypocritical to support the death penalty? I realize that if someone commits a crime they should be punished but it seems like it defeats the whole 'right to life' ideology.

I've seen pro-life folks criticize pro-choice folks for being opposed to the death penalty... That was fun.

Anyway, I'm pro-choice and support the death penalty, but not for people who haven't commited a heinous crime like women who have had an abortion or the doctors who perform them. I think the only people that should be put to death are those who confess to multiple murders and/or sexual assaults but only if the evidence provided to a jury in court corresponds to the confession.

Since Abortion isn't murder no one should be killed for it.

I guess that was meant for me...........I am pro life when it comes to the abortion issue...............

It really shows how hypocritical pro abortion people like you are though................You plead and cry and have compassion for a murderer or rapist but when it comes to and innocent, defenseless baby in the womb who has committed no crime and just wants the same chance at life you do you say butcher it............Unbelieveable.......

I support the death penalty for someone who has committed a capital crime.........The innocent baby in the womb has not done that.....

I see, you're only kind of pro-life. You know, you're pro-life here but your pro-death here. Not exactly the same.

It really shows how hypocritical pro abortion people like you are though................You plead and cry and have compassion for a murderer or rapist

I never once have and I never will. You can't read my mind, by the way.

but when it comes to and innocent, defenseless baby in the womb who has committed no crime and just wants the same chance at life you do you say butcher it............Unbelieveable.......

How does one deal with nonsense like this?

"Wuh, wuh, wuh WAAAA, dat undeveloped fetus is a wheal hooman beean like yoo and mee! Nuh, nuh bwhaaaa!!!"

Now this is a completely acceptable stance that I think you have every right to. It is a bit nit-picky to get into detail about aboriton vs. death penalty but it is important to note then that pro-life does not protect the sanctity of ALL life, just a chosen selection of the populous. Still an acceptable view but it needs to be defined so that the rest of us don't rag on you for nothing.

This is where you always loose credibility. You know that MOST (<-- please note) abortion supporters do not believe in killing an innocent baby, they disagree that the development state is far enough along to assign individuality to the fetus at the time of abortion, save for late term abortions which have rightfully been outlawed. Using terms like "innocent, defenseless baby" and "butcher" give your argument no more merit and is a ploy that is easily seen through. We are totally willing to debate with you but unless you are able to handle this as a mature adult then there isn't much point.

You said you support ALL human life - which would include people facing the death penalty. If you were only talking about abortion, you should have chosen your words more carefully.

I am sorry but I don't believe in protecting the sanctity of life for murderers or rapists or mass murderers..........In fact if I could go back in time and kill and animal like Hitler or Stalin and save millions of lives I would do it unlike you I guess..........

Pro life people believe that life begins at Conception.............So do hypocrites in your party like Jimmy carter and John Kerry but they sacrafice their beliefs for the almighty vote and parianship politics........They take precedence over everything.........

40,000, 000 abortions since 1972........I can't even fathom that figure.........Were they all necessary? Where is your compassion for the unborn............Never mind I already know......

No not at all, they are 2 completely different issues but what bugs me is how pro abortion people can have so much sympathy and compassion for a person that has murdered and raped and have none for the innocent baby in the womb...............

You want hypocrisy.....you got it...........

Sorry, I must have overestimated your intelligence by thinking that you would understand that a message clearly directed at you and posted below your post is, in fact, directed at you.

Regardless, I couldn't help but notice that you completly avoided the point and failed to rebuke anything I said.

I'm claiming victory.

No, it really isn't two different issues. Ask Jerry. Life means life.

And what's with you and this "pro abortion" crap? We've been over that one a dozen times. I don't believe there's anyone here that is actually pro abortion, I have yet to see anyone actually advocate abortions or say that women should be going out and getting abortions at every opportunity.

This is why you have no credibility in this forum. I'm trying to discuss things with you rationally and you refuse to do so and instead throw out insults and false information in an attempt to discredit your opponent instead of making your own points stronger.

When have I ever said that I would not have gone back in time to kill Hitler or Stalin, and when have I ever said that I would? The truth of the mater is that you have no clue as to my actual stance on the protection of innocent life vs. convicted felons. You've never asked. You just ASSume.

Now I hate to mention this to you but you have just shown your hypocritical stance yet again. Earlier in this thread somebody asked you about the unborn killers and rapists that are being aborted and you said that they should be protected as long as they were still innocent. Yet you just said that you would go back and kill Hilter or Stalin to prevent the crimes they commited. If they didn't commit the crimes yet then wouldn't they still be innocent and you guilty of murder? Its clear that your stance is to protect only those lives that YOU deem worthy to protect. Would you be in favor of allowing aboritons in cases where you knew that the child would grow up as a liberal? I wonder.

We will have to agree to disagree I just hope no one in your family is every murdered or raped and mutilated becasue you just might change your tune.....Its easy to be a liberal and take the high ground when it does not affect you personally.....Well in my life it has affected me personally and in that case I would have volunteered to pull the switch on the SOB who murdered and raped my cousins daughter.............

As far as pro choice and pro abortion they mean the same to me.........They both mean legal murder in the womb.........
