Thats kind of a dumb statement. I could use that same logic to argue that motor vehicles should be banned because statistically the odds increase for someone getting hurt in a car if they have one at thier home.

If you want to make the kind of argument your making, show the data that says the states with the strictest gun laws also have the lowest incidents of homocides.

Are you less likely to be murdered in california than texas?
