Senate leader McConnell refuses to push "citizenship declaration" bill for Cruz

No, listen. Whatever you're trying to do isn't working. I'm going to take a flyer and try this interpretation of your post...
The Hawkeye house is the US, right? and the Jones's are another country, in this case Canada. That what you're getting at? And you think that the Jones's want to tell you what direction you should go, based on me offering my opinion of Trump?

Exactly, you live your life and I will live mine, and dont butt into my life unless either one I ask you too or two you think that I violated your rights. This works at the nation level as well
Tell you what, Hawkeye, you take your family and eat where you want but there's nothing at Chez Trump but fat, sugar and empty calories, the empty calories being a reference to the American fascination (hey, there's your favourite word!) with celebrity. Singers, actors, athletes, hell pro wrestlers get elected to high office, why not a puffed-up blowhard like 'the Donald'?

Did I guess right?

You sound bitter. Just a little maybe because all you got up there in Canada when you demanded change is another copy of the Trudeaus, while when America demands change we very well may get someone as fresh as Donald J Trump??

Cause that is what this sounds like, jsyk.

Well, just so you know, the possibility of getting Donald Trump as Chief Executive is going to earn you sympathy from your friends, not envy. And if you think that voicing my opinion of Trump is butting into your life, well, get used to it 'cuz it's only gonna get worse as the process procedes. I mean, geez, how important do you think you are if my voicing my opinion of American politics is butting into your life? Go ahead, ask me how important your life is to me.

Really not surprising in the least.

Cruz represents a threat to the old 'turtle neck' establishment politician. No surprise that Cruz isn't getting any traction with them.

He also represents a threat to America. The man is evil. I personally hope that he comes down with some sort of illness and dies this week. That would be fantastic if the flu killed this rotten bastard off. There is not one single politician I hate more than Cruz and I wish death on him.

No, I don't think that he represents a threat to America. Nor do I think he's evil.
I think you think those things of him because he doesn't agree with you and your way of thinking.

Yeah, and then there's your second and third sentence.

From my life experiences, a person has to be pretty shallow and vile to wish death on someone else, especially if it's just because they don't agree.

Then I'm proudly shallow and vile. There are few people I wish would drop dead, and Ted Cruz is one of them. He represents everything wrong with politics and the human race in general.

Here, I suspect, we see what's wrong with America. Decades of negative advertising has so congealed the issue, that voters no longer disagree or oppose opponents are to be hated.

Here we see a death wish against a fellow American, one the poster has never met and only knows through the narrow lens of a biased media.

Yet he is openly hoping the man dies.

And you wonder, with the ****ing guns around, why you have so many mass killings. If this death hate is so open it can be expressed openly on this forum, then there is no hope for America, the disease can only grow.

Based on this horror, the desire for the death of a human being, my esteem of Americans has dropped another few notches, and doubt there is hope for you.

****, you issue death threats over pizza, I guess a death wish is OK

That's pretty damn low.

A master mind at work. Brilliant at using the weakness of his distracters to boost his popularity...brilliant.

I'm pretty sure it's not Trump's distracter's weaknesses that he's brilliantly manipulating. They see him as the liberal Democrat he is and always has been. Nominate Trump, and the liberal left get to select from one of two Democrats for President in November.

Hey CJ ... I saw a poll somehwere that showed Jeb in 2nd place in NH.
I fell off the chair and thought of your prediction while I was getting up.
I forget where I saw it.

I know I know.
Calm down.
I couldn't provide a link because I forgot where I saw it and it went by fast.
But I found something here ...

The latest NH1 News poll has Trump trouncing everyone with 31.7% support, but Bush has climbed to 11.9 % support, edging out Ohio Governor John Kasich, who has 11.8 % support.

Kasich is followed closely by Governor Chris Christie with 11% and both Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz with 10% support.

NE Republicans are much more pragmatic and less conservative, so no surprise Kasich and Bush would be second and third.

Wishing death on someone simply because you disagree with them is just childish.

Hi Bubba - hope all is good

That was probably one of the local NH polls that I've been saying are more relevant than national polls or polls by the networks or big national polling companies - I think they have a better feel for the State. But Kasich seems to be picking up there, for some reason, so maybe he's getting some crossover Democrat voters.

I'm not giving up on Jeb - but it won't be easy.

I got polled last Thursday. I told the pollster I was voting for George Pataki. He didn't seem in touch with anything. Pataki dropped out last month. Pollster recorded my answer.

Jeb Bush's Image Among Republicans Deteriorates

This Jeb! fella being the same one who in Iowa, where the people have seen him almost constantly for much of the last year and where he has spent a ton of money trying to promote himself, is running with an unfavorable rating of 56% (favorable 33%).

America does not want Jeb Bush, we have been very very clear on that, and that is not changing.

Jeb Bush is George Bush with the personality of a sandwich, and American's favor style just as much, if not more than substance.

Jeb Bush is George W Bush with fewer political skills and a much longer learning curve. A few months back I read a quote from a Florida R operative who has long watched him there..he said something to the effect " Jeb as a long warm up time, he will be ready for this presidential run sometime in 2018".

Bout says it all.
