Senator Fineswine (Diane Feinstein) makes Palin look like a stable genius by comparison, but I know a 26yo college dropout that makes them both look like idiots, so.... :shrug:

I am not slandering Republicans, but they are obviously trying to profit on the influx of people because of the RNC. I think it's kind of funny.

I wonder if it's ironic that strip clubs expect a boost in business when republicans show up in town.

I'd say it puts the lie to the idea that Republicans are mostly religious conservative types who frown on that type of thing.

Strip clubs have, for the most part, become a rite-of-passage for young men around college age, of whom there will probably be many at the convention (pages, actual college students, etc), and a certain percentage of any group of men of any age patronize them. The stigma that used to be on strip clubs and those who attend them has largely vanished. They used to hide on back roads behind unmarked gates; now they advertise on billboards on the highway.

I don't approve personally, but the fact is that strip clubs have very nearly become part of "mainstream culture". Ask 100 guys under 30 if they've been to one, I'll bet more than half will answer yes.

I went to one a long time ago, and I failed to see the point in it. We had to bring our own alcohol, the strippers were meh, and the music was so loud, I couldn't hear anything anyone was saying. I don't get it, and I don't see the appeal in it at all. Seriously, how is that a good time worth spending any amount of money on?

Most guys prefer the byob clubs. In a lot of states, the clubs that sell alcohol are topless only, while the byob ones are fully nude. Plus its much cheaper to drink the beer you get from the store rather than at a bar.

That all said, while I have been to a few strip joints when I was younger, I never was that big on them.

Not sure about that, Democrats tend to get the pornstar demographic. Palin is starting to look kind of old too. She has aged a lot in the last couple of years.

Some republicans are gay, some are atheist, etc. so why wouldn't some of them go to a strip club?? lol. This may just be the strip clubs way of doing some different for their usual customer base too.
