I think you may be falling for a classic deflection. @X Factor wants to deflect the conversation away from Santos and toward a debate instead about how bad “the left” may be. He is not permitted to cross Santos, his fellow soldier, but since it’s difficult to defend him, the next logical thing to do is “butwhatabout the Clintons!”
