I am not a "sovereign citizen," either.
Finally. There's the problem. The idea that anyone is bound by some ridiculous "contract" the terms of which no one would actually agree to.
Fundamentally, the constant throughout the various "sovereign citizen movements" is the premise that their moral position can overcome society's ethical positions.
The state can exert those consequences whether or not the individual agrees to it. That's how states work.
This only works if they have explicitly granted their consent to the state. Otherwise it's based on coercion.Fundamentally, the constant throughout the various "sovereign citizen movements" is the premise that their moral position can overcome society's ethical positions.
Yes, that’s how they work, but that doesn’t mean they are morally correct.
Sacrificing individuals for some abstract ‘common good’ is not morally justified.

Eliminating property taxes would defund public schools, and he hates public schools.
That would sound like a great self congratulatory argument for destroying public education if I still watched faux. I don't. Good luck pulling yourself out.About half of the American population reads at a 6th grade level. About 20% are illiterate. You can imagine their math skills are similar in development.
It's not like you didn't have enough time. Government-run schools have been around for over 300 years and this is the result.
How obvious does it have to be? The smart thing to do at this point would be to try something else.

Imagine what Disney pays? And nobody lives there. That does not compute. With a population of 23.37 million that's $32,500 per person annually. Have I misplaced a zero. or something?
The top ten PISA scoring countries, including Canada, Finland and Estonia, have government run schools.About half of the American population reads at a 6th grade level. About 20% are illiterate. You can imagine their math skills are similar in development.

That's a steal. I paid over $12,000 here in Illinois.It's a steal. I paid $7000 last year.

So I hear. New Jersey is apparently the worst. That's all? Come to CT, where you will dream of the days of paying only $1000 a month to rent your home from the local government.
Who should pay for the benefits of living in a community? That's all? Come to CT, where you will dream of the days of paying only $1000 a month to rent your home from the local government.
So it's already at 6 percent. What will it have to go up to for it to make up for this shortfall? 20 percent. This is becoming pretty standard. The red states are ditching property taxes and income taxes in favor of sales tax which, of course, is the most regressive tax available to them since it hits those at the bottom of the economic scale as a greater percentage of their income. Always screw those at the bottom while reducing taxes on the uber-wealthy is their constant credo.
