Read: James Comey's memos

Then why'd you say it?

It's my speculation. It's nice to keep an open mind and remember that partisan politics isn't a determinant in the prosecution of criminals.

Why is no one shocked you find a piece from Vox.com to be compelling?

Nothing wrong with Vox, they do fine work.

That's not Vox, it's Lisa Kern Griffin, a law professor at Duke, and former Fed prosecutor.

Lame.

Very, very, very, very lame.

It's my speculation.

I see...So when you said this:

"That's not for keyboard jockey's to decide."

What you really were trying to say is that only YOU, or other like minded persons here are allowed to speculate on the matter....So IOW, nothing but the usual crap....

It's nice to keep an open mind and remember that partisan politics isn't a determinant in the prosecution of criminals.

Open mind? What in your posting history about ANY of this mess demonstrates an 'open mind' from you?

All I had to do was remind you that you won't be deciding fate. It seemed like you were pretty deadset that it wasn't obstruction. So, I had to remind you that keyboard jockey's won't be deciding that. And that it's important to keep an open mind because, partisan politics won't be a factor in Mueller's report.

And I have a very open mind, I am a very stable genius with a very stable and very open mind.

If by progressive worldview being the only way to think, I suppose they are just fine.

Coming from the side who has crowed about CNN being invalid as well.

I think everyone should just get the news and information from Trump pre-approved outlets. Trump could even set up a new bureau of the Federal government called the Ministry of Truth.

Well, how long has it been? Comey says a year since his firing....And to date NOTHING coming from either DoJ, or Muller even alluding to any "obstruction" of his investigation...In fact, Comey's little butt hurt stunt of leaking his memo's to a friend to disseminate to news outlets, has him in more hot water than the President....

Mueller has kept a tight lid on his investigation. Did anyone see the indictments his probe has produced coming? There was no warning they were coming until they were there.

Just be patient, and open to the idea that Trump obstructed justice, because as I've shown you, some experts agree he has.

Really wasn't obstruction until Comey was fired.
1. Not at all, especially as it is known that Trump made it clear that he wanted it investigated both before and after Comey's firing.
2. You seem to be forgetting that Trump is not a target of the investigation. I would suggest that that statement was made long after looking at Comey's memos.

LOL....Nice humor there....But, YOU had to remind me? Someone create a new position on this board for you recently that I am not aware of? Nah, look, you tried to throw cold water on my assertion that in reading the memo's that I didn't see any collusion, or obstruction in there, so you felt in necessary to chime in with a one liner to try and dismiss my opinion, then when called on it, you tried to denounce exactly what you yourself did. Now you keep digging with the ridiculous assertion that you are an objective, open minded observer of all of this....Pro Tip: Stop digging.

If Trump fired Comey to thwart an investigation it was obstruction.

tell me Excon, if Comey had 'let Flynn go.' and squashed the FBI probe, would Trump have fired him?

At the time of writing the memo's there wasn't any clear obstruction yet. I pointed this simple fact out. there wouldnt be talk of obstruction in the memos because it didn't become obstruction until after Comey was fired.

So, please try to have an open mind and let the facts act as light posts to guide you to understanding.

And again.
"Not at all, especially as it is known that Trump made it clear that he wanted it investigated both before and after Comey's firing."

You have absolutely no information that counters that.

You need to be asking Trump, not me.

Well, isn't that rich? I remember a time around 2009 where liberals like you were openly calling for a "Truth panel" to weed through what you called misinformation about Obama.....

I tell ya, now that Alinsky, and his corrosive tactics are fully revealed to the American public, it is way too easy to see what you guys do on a constant basis.

You need to be asking Trump, not me.

Trump wanted what investigated?

And the answer to my question is 'No, James Comey would still have his job."

You should go back and read that quote form Vox. It lays out when a Presidential action becomes unlawful.

If by progressive worldview being the only way to think, I suppose they are just fine.

The contemporary "progressive worldview" is anti-dogmatic, highly democratic and with that as a foundation open to new ideas in social philosophy, as represented, for example, by the views of Bernie Sanders. This is markedly different from Marxist progressiveism, just as it is markedly different from the increasingly anti-democratic leanings of the Right, which rather unbelievably is finding its voice in Donald Trump, one of the great ignoramuses in political history.
