Jalapeno dip... that way I always feel the bern. From beginning to end.
Come on ice cream.

So let me get this straight, politicans who tell the public that the government is wasteful and are spending to much money then go and spend millions on a election campaign which they end after one state????
American politics hurts my head.
I would like him better if he stopped endorsing the Republican Party. Not surprised though. We libertarians are only 1% of the country. Easier to take over a region politically and secede than try and change the US away from socialism. Even if Rand had won he wouldnt get anything done, and would only postpone things for 4 years.
I was a Rand Paul supporter. I suppose my support will now go to Rubio. Cruz is a bit too far right for me....especially on fiscal policy.......his "Fair Tax" plan scares me. I also think Cruz has the wrong approach on foreign policy.....the "carpet bombing" statements make me a tad uneasy as well. So yeah....its Rubio for me.
Same applies for Bernie. He'd never get Congress to go along with much of what he says. In truth the same applies to any President wanting to make radical change who doesn't also own both houses of Congress. It's tough enough to tinker at the margins with the other party running the legislature.

Didn't know he was even still in the race. I guess that means I won't miss him. Few 'Libertarians' are anything but con artists suckering clueless Burb Brats by pasting some faux political credibility over the pursuit of mindless self-indulgence; they are the right wing's equivalent of 'social justice warriors', only with a smaller vocabulary.
Two things here:
1) 19% of Americans Self-Identify as Libertarians, New Reuters Poll Finds
2) Taking over a region... Libertarians tried and are trying that. It's called the Free State Project. It's about trying to get libertarians to move to New Hampshire.
I'd put my vocabulary up against anyone's.
He may gain traction if he can just hold on and the field thins so he isn't buried under the rest of them and can actually get seen. If I were advising him I'd have him CONSTANTLY saying "I'm a governor". That way people who don't know him see instantly learn of him as an executive. His name should never be seen or heard without "governor" right there with it. If a reporter called him Mr. Kasich or Kasich or such... I'd have him correcting them on the spot. "That's Governor Kasich."

I have an idea. More of a where though.
Kasich, who I like a lot, announced today that he will drop out promptly after New Hampshire if he has a bad showing. I really like him. I also love what you say here. It's respectful to call him "Governor Kasich".
It only partially gets around the law. If Rand Paul had won the nomination he still couldn't run for both Senator and President so if he didn't win the presidency he would be standing in the unemployment line and collecting food stamps.
As I said in another thread ive heard a theory of Kasich hanging around a bit longer as a possible vp bid, he could very possibly deliver Ohio in the gen election , which is a key state quite often.
My dream ticket is Rubio-Kasich and if Rubio gets the nod, I predict that is exactly what happened.
Just posted to you in the other thread what Kasich said today. If he does 3rd or better here, he will stay, but short of 3rd, he'll drop out right away. He actually has a very good chance at pulling 3rd here.
I could see NH going Trump, Rubio, Kasich, Cruz as the top 4 possibly.
The bloom seems to have fallen off Trump's rose. Funny, until last week all they ever talked about here was him. Now he's getting mentioned only after they talk about Rubio & Cruz. I think your top 4 may be right although I'd say Bush & Christie will give Kasich a run for his money.
I think bush and his super pax intend to spend their financial resources by targeting Rubio.
You might be onto something. I saw Bush on TV today and to say he is taking Rubio very very personally is an understatement. This personal feud could doom the only chance the GOP really has to win in November. I wonder what happened between these two to cause such bitter enmity?
