Retribution is coming. Laws are only abided until
Society decides differently.

enator Rand Paul vowed this past weekend that a “day of reckoning” is coming for Democrats because Americans are sick and tried of spiralling crime and violence dominating their cities.

Appearing on Hannity, Paul spoke of the Democrats’ double standards on political violence in the wake of an attack on GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin last week during a campaign speech.

“The left wing is egging this on,” Paul urged, adding “and if we want to end this we have to start locking people up.”

Paul compared the media coverage of the attack on Zeldin to how the media covered Paul being violently attacked a few years ago, noting that the a Louisville Courier reported said “violence against me was justified.”

Paul went on to decry the rise of crime and violence, noting “There’s going to come a day of reckoning where the people who live in New York City – crime disproportionately affects those in poor neighborhoods and those who are minorities. One day they’re going to rise up and say, ‘We’ve had enough. The Democrats are not protecting our children.'”

I seem to remember good ol boy Rand’s face get a reckoning from a neighbor who rose up. Best not try to get another reckoning Rand. Your health will not fare much better.

Crime was much worst everywhere in the 60s and 70s...

This is just more of a call for violence from another RW Republican politician..

They're traitors...
I guess there’s been a pause.

LOL I thought the Red Hats all lived in the hills, crime free?

So ****in ridiculous.

How quickly things change.

"When Donald Trump signed a long-sought criminal justice reform measure into law in 2018, he had visions of using the legislation to make major inroads with Black and moderate swing voters. The First Step Act was not just hailed as a rare bipartisan achievement for the 45th president but as the beginning of a major shift in GOP politics, one that would move the party past the 1980s tough-on-crime mindset to a focus on rehabilitation, racial fairness and second chances.

Three-and-a-half years later, few Republicans — Trump included — seem not at all interested in talking about it. With spikes in crime registering as a top concern for voters, Republicans have increasingly reverted back to that 1980s mindset. Talk of additional legislation has taken a back seat to calls for enhanced policing and accusations that Democratic-led cities are veering toward lawlessness."

A day of reckoning alright, from Kentuckians tired of Paul's shitty performance for his State

Rand Paul knows what it's like to be physically attacked and injured by left wing nutjobs. For what it's worth he also graduated from the Duke School of Medicine and was a practicing ophthalmologist before entering politics.

If you think Josh Hawley was a sprinter…………..Paul will leave him in the dust, when push comes to shove!

For what it's worth, crime is a local issue. I guess they didn't teach that in eye school

Kentucky Republican Senate candidate bills himself as a "board-certified" physician even though he is not actually certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology -- the only recognized body that certifies doctors in his specialty.

Paul's only certification was provided instead by something called the National Board of Ophthalmology, which is very convenient because he operates that organization himself.

A local issue? So the federal government and the FBI should stand down when it comes to local crimes?

I was referencing the current bio of Rand Paul on Wikipedia. They say he was a legal practicing ophthalmologist. You should go on Wiki and correct their mistake.

Meh, all that proves is that wealthy liberals have flocked to, and taken over all the nice places in our country (e.g. California, Oregon, Washington State, New England, Colorado, etc.) forcing the poor and others into those areas of the country where the majority of liberals don't want to live.
I mean, goodness - liberals now have the entire west coast, the Sierras, the bulk of the Rockies, and the entirety of New England. What's left are the humid hellholes of the south, the oil fields of Texas and the Dakotas, the agricultural regions of the midwest, and the deserts of the west and southwest.

Guess he took Physician heal thyself as a way to get around all things, even being a board certified ophthalmologist.

I was looking for that, but came up with it in WAPO, where I had to subscribe to read the rest.
