I too never believed that Iraq had anything at all to do with 9/11 and thought that the notion was crazy. Then again I never cared for GWB , Cheney, Rumsfeld either. I could tolerate Rice but thought she was an idiot, and admired Powell to a certain extent (odd how he just did not seem to fit in with the rest of that crew).

However, its even more stupid to try to say that 9/11 was an inside job designed to garner support to invade Iraq. There were NO Iraqis among the hijackers, OBL was not being harboured by Iraq either. Nor was Hussein a fundemantalist, his country was largely a secilar one. In fact OBL had previously offered to oust Hussein instead of having the Americans do it.
