Question about linking youtube videos

Last night, I was trying to link a couple of videos, and couldn't get them to link/embed. I don't have this problem on other sites, and can't figure out what I could be doing wrong. Any suggestions or ideas to try? TIA. :)
 
works for me, how are you doing it? Assuming you meant you had this problem here.

Did you use the video button on the reply page? It is right above the box you enter your text into, looks like a strip of film. Also note that some videos cannot be embedded, it is a setting people who post videos at youtube can set.

I used the *share* button, unless you're talking about something that I am missing altogether. I'll check it out, and see if it rings any bells. Thanks!
 


Some videos are protected and cannot be posted on the forum.

Otherwise try adding this here,copy and paste if you want to try: [VIDEO]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PE5V4Uzobc&feature=related[/VIDEO

Just add this ] to the end of that text and post it.

From you tube, that link looks like this(without the space near the beginning): h ttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PE5V4Uzobc&feature=related



After it is pasted into the "insert video" button it looks like this(without the space near the end): [VIDEO]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PE5V4Uzobc&feature=related[/VIDEO ]


Don't forget you need to copy and paste the link from youtube to debate politics.

I struggled with posting videos here at first. It's because most sites only want what is after the 'equals' sign in the youtube link. Here, you need to use the whole link.
