Yes Putin has painted himself into a corner and the only way out is for him to fall on his sword. He is now being made a fool of by an ex-comedian turned President. He was given far too long to declare victory and leave Ukraine and now it is too late. His dreams of glory has been his downfall. hmmmm you may have to consult reliable sources. Putin NEVER said, as you claim, that he wants talks with Zelensky. Putin invited Ukrain back to Turkey to resume the negotiations that were halted back in 2022

Ukraine should send a negotiating team to Turkey, like they did in 2022. Zelensky sitting at the table will only guarantee a fiasco like his session at the Oval Office
