Putin refuses to meet with Zelensky in Turkey

The West has been begging for that to happen— pathetically stupidly, as such a thing would leave thousand of nukes— for decades....

And Russia has fought off each and every attempt.

If the world actually operated on the principles of the Nuremberg Trials almost every American president and dozens of American generals and admirals since would have hung for war crimes.....

And everyone knows it.

Heck, America’s last big move was bombing a diplomatic party and throwing a tantrum when the host nation tried to kick the US out.

Which explains the present hysteria in the west. Why else are they so passionate on an unconditional ceasefire? The party that shrieks for ceasefires is generally the party on the ropes

Now we will see if Trump has the backbone to back up his words with action and finally places the sanctions on Russia he has threatened or is as feckless and weak as he usually appears to the world. Putin has one goal, to swallow the Ukraine entirely. He has lied reapetly begining with the massing of Russian troops on the border. He has lied about cease fire agreements, peace talks, and his desire for end to the conflict.

Only a naive fool would believe Putin.

How much more proof does Trump need.

No the Ukrainians do that with their own drones. These are more banking sanctions and sanctions on Putin's shadow fleet of oil tankers. Hurting Putin in the pocketbook will save lives on both sides. No one seems to care about that.

Do I need to quote Trump's threats to Zelenskyy and Putin if they should refuse to negotiate and implement a ceasefire?

To Putin, Trump was quite clear that Russia would face debilitating new sanctions on its energy and banking sectors, and he would arm Ukraine to the 9's.

Now, Trump provides Putin with yet another alibi.... Trump himself.

One can't help but come to the conclusion that the Trump administration will do whatever is necessary to tilt the outcome in Moscow's favor.

Unlike his relations with Zelenskyy (extortion via funding/weapons cutoffs), Trump has never forced Putin to do anything that would be inimical to Putin's grandoise designs on Ukraine.

LOL You sound like a Russian. They think war is the natural state of mankind. The rest of the world disagrees and believes a ceasefire is preferable to more dying. Putin is just doing this to eliminate a good part of his population. That leaves more cash for the oligarchs and him. He is doing a good job of that with Ukraine's help.

No one was begging for a invasion of Ukraine. Putin has destroyed his own nation with his stupid and useless war. This time we will not allow them to keep their nukes or all the other nations they hold captive.

Because Ukrainians are not bloodthirsty Orcs like Russians are. Is that clear enough for you? My question to you is if Russia is winning why have they lost so much equipment that they need to attack on motorcycles and golf carts and use donkeys to supply the front lines? That sounds like a winning strategy to you?

So why is the EU moving heaven and earth for a ceasefire? Did something bad happen? In 2022 Big Boris from Magna Britannia stumped into the midst of Ukrainians negotiating with Russians and put a stop to it, ordering the Ukrainians to get back to the front. The European determination then was Russia must be destroyed. Then after the disastrous counteroffensive the determination weakened to Russia cannot be allowed to win. Now Europeans are now fighting for a ceasefire....

What happened?
