Prosecutor's audio shows Biden's memory lapses

Could someone explain why this and so many other talking points about Biden are so important to the Right? They're constantly going on and on about him, and it's boring.

I can’t speak for anyone but myself. With that being said, there are indeed questions as to if President Biden had the ability to govern as President. The release of this audio clearly shows he was struggling with cognitive issues. We were told by those surrounding him that he was the sharpest they had seen him in years. America saw otherwise for years, as well as watched the live debates which were the catalyst to the truth that could no longer be denied. So, questions are being asked, and should be addressed.

Puppet leaders are a threat to democracy. People didn't vote for the person in the shadows pulling the strings.

Biden clearly wasn't able to continue being President. So he was pushed out by his own party. Now, he's no longer in power. Why is he still the topic of discussion?

He was also not doing a great job in the role, and was largely ineffective the last two years. "How do we keep from getting into this situation again" is a very valid question.

He indeed was pushed out by his own party, but only after it became clear they could no longer BS the American public. So now we are left with the fact that evidence is coming out that President Biden was not capable of making decisions that impacted not just the United States, but the world. So who was making those decisions, and why were we being lied to. America has every reason to distrust what we were told for the past four plus years. And you can’t blame people for wanting answers to their questions.
This should NEVER happen again. Clearly Biden was not capable of making major decisions and the truth was kept from the American public. We watched Karine Jean-Pierre time and time again struggle with being truthful. Without her notebook she would have been totally lost. She has even admitted to giving false information.

So-- it tends to show that progressives will lie and cheat to get that what they want.
It shows that progressives really don't believe in democracy.
It shows that WH physicians are really nothing more than PR flacks for the president.

Biden is not a Progressive, nor was his cabinet.

The same reason the left will go on and on about Trump after he's done being President.

Because it's looking like he hasn't been able to perform the job for quite some time, and many people were covering it up.

Biden is not a Progressive, nor was his cabinet.
Most of his agenda can be classified as such. The only exception being foreign policy. His failure to address the concerns of moderates is one of the reasons he was so unpopular.

“So what I told my family and friends when they asked me what Biden said when he called was this: Joe Biden — even at his most inarticulate and even with his voice weakened by age — has more gut commitment to and understanding of what America at its best means to the world, and who our real friends are and must always be, than every member of the Trump administration combined.”

Typical Trumpsters in this thread.. Biden.. Harris.. Look squirrel, over there..

Typical indeed, cult45/47 now suddenly loves anonymous sources, now loves and salivates over books written by journalists no questions asked, and 5 minute clips out of hours of recordings.

Irony of the century ( or is it hypocrisy ) very same ones who not only refused to believe any book written about how bad things were with their dear leader, not only refused to believe anyone who tried coming forward with truths about dear leader and how bad things were, they stuck their fingers in their ears, and demonized every single one as being disloyal/traitors and wanted them destroyed.

Respected long time conservatives until the moment they tried shining the light on the real him, until the moment they failed the fealty to dear leader requirement, then they had to be demonized.

Very same ones who currently embarrass themselves day in and day out deflecting and making excuse after excuse for the man currently in office.

Deflections and excuse after excuse for their dear leader’s embarrassing unhingement, pathological lies, his lies and stolen election hoax that tore the country apart/incited J6, refuse to admit any reality regarding his indictments, applaud he’s gotten away with it all only because he managed to win an election.

Worship, praise and glorify the word salad king incapable of completing a coherent sentence who can rarely speak with any real depth or substance, the man who has his own obvious issues with cognitive decline and getting worse, all of which they stick their fingers in their ears and refuse to admit to, but want to pretend to possess a moral high ground and staunch supporters of truth and justice. 😂🙄

Amid long, uncomfortable pauses, Joe Biden struggled to recall when his son died, when he left office as vice president, what year Donald Trump was elected or why he had classified documents he shouldn't have had, according to audio Axios obtained of his October 2023 interviews with special counsel Robert Hur.

Why it matters: The newly released recordings of Biden having trouble recalling such details — while occasionally slurring words and muttering — shed light on why his White House refused to release the recordings last year, as questions mounted about his mental acuity.

The audio also appears to validate Hur's assertion that jurors in a trial likely would have viewed Biden as "a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

Partly based on that determination, Hur decided not to prosecute Biden for improper possession of classified documents, angering Republicans because Trump was facing charges in his own classified document scandal then.

So the tapes were like we thought they were considering Biden's condition and it was the opposite of what Democrats claimed.
Okay, let's stipulate that this is all true.

So what? No laws were broken by his being in office in that condition.

There are plenty of various threads on this forum to address your concerns regarding Trump. Care to actually engage in the discussion of this thread? After listening to the audio, do you believe President Biden was of sound mind? Capable of making clear, executive decisions that impacted the entire world?
The difference between me and the people in this thread saying SEE, WE TOLD U ABOUT BIDEN is that I didn't support Biden to be presidet to begin with for a number of reasons, including his age-related ability to do the job.

The people sitting here whinging about Biden's mental faculties NEVER MADE A SINGLE PEEP about Trump's mental faculties, despite 4 years of "infantroopen", "sock rockets", "United Shaysh", airports during the American Revolution, Mercedes, Tim Apple. We had FOUR YEARS of that stuff. Not a peep from his supporters, other than to defend him from his clear stupidity/mental decline.

This is exactly how the lefties here address it. They must have got the same memo. I have a feeling Democrats are going to have trouble in the new elections.

Trump/GOP - Look over there at a senile (and a cancerous Joe Biden)!

While they're about to vote to remove over 9 million Americans from Medicaid health insurance.

This is because Trump supporters refuse to ever actually comment on his mental status. Not a single time ever. Not when he slurs words. Not when he makes up words. Not when he makes up things like airports during the American Revolution. Not when he forgets the names of basically everyone around him, like Mercedes, his wife, and Tim Apple, the head of apple, his own cabinet members, his doctor Not when he needs two hands to take a little sippy of water. Never.

Literally not ever.

Thanks for reinforcing his point. 😆

Democrats: but its better than the fascist Trump!

Imagine defending the elites and not the voters picking the nominee.
Again, you just do not understand how nearly all US parties have historically organized and operated ....for centuries.

It is as if in every thread, posters like you need total, complete remedial education on every topic you stick your nose into. We have to tell you how vaccines work, we have to inform you how the economy works, and even when you guys get into the mechanisms of US politics, it is as if you have lived in another country and have absolutely no idea how anything works

No wonder you spend so much time here. I should start a thread on how to tie your shoes so you stop falling on your face.....but then again, maybe not.

We're presently with Trump's chaotic destruction of everything that made America what it was since WWII, not your stupid "hey look over here" spam about Biden.

(That is, I'm assuming you're not doing something as magnificently idiotic as trying to suggest that if Biden was getting frail back then, that means whatever Trump does right now is fine; that you're just trying to generally distract from his awfulness by making noise about it).
