I honestly don't care if you think anchor babies devalue US citizenship. I know of several people who were born here and families who have lived in this country for centuries that devalue it more. If devaluing citizenship is the issue, then there is several other steps we need to take like mandating memorization and utilization of rights. They do not represent a nail in the coffin just by being an anchor baby. No, they can represent a nail in the coffin later but they don't at that time.

In fact anchor babies are a bright hope for this country. New blood when the old is stubborn, selfish, and narcissistic. It is clear that Americans are killing America, not anchor babies.

The anchor babies and their illegal relatives are the replacement population. Just like Whites replaced American Indians, Mexicans are replacing Whites.

Yes, I would send the parents home and let the kids stay. The parent can either get in line to be a citizen too or the kid once old enough to choose can revoke his or her citizenship. Or the parents, if the child is very young, can have the kid be a citizen of the parents home country.

You realize that something being illegal doesn't make it morally wrong, right? Plus if there are more roads to legal immigration, there will be fewer illegal aliens, cuz there will be more legal ones. Making something not a crime doesn't support crime, it curtails absurd and counterproductive laws that don't protect order or security, but simply punish people who haven't done any real harm. Stop with the labels and think about actual policy that can help people and make the country stronger.

Mexican citizens aren't interested in assimilating into America. First of all, American culture is degraded and crass. No Mexican in his or her right mind wants to be an American. Mexicans want the lifestyle without being American.

The Mexicans aren't under any pressure to assimilate. I've been forced to learn Spanglish in order to cope. I live right on the front lines of the illegal alien invasion. That's why I am reacting in this manner. They are not assimilating.

They are colonists and expatriates, not immigrants.

If you even attempt to get a job, no matter how little it pays, your welfare benefits are cut off. Since most of the people on welfare have little or no work experience, they're not going to be able to get a job out of the gate that pays all the bills. Thus, welfare punishes those who attempt to better themselves and therefore, most never bother to try.
