Out of curiosity, do you know if the night time lows in the very low humidity areas are also warming? Warming as much?

Just wondering about the effect of water vapor on holding in the heat at night.

Is water vapor a non-player? Is rising CO2 the only actor in this little passion play?

I think the ratio is present in a broad range of locations and over several decades.
At this point, we likely have insufficient data to determine all of the variables.
In Hansen's paper, he said he thought the T-Max would catch up to the increase in T-Min,
but almost 2 decades on, the ratio appears the same.
In an actual greenhouse, the T-Max is what increases more, not the T-Min.

No, it's because this graph - hosted by a "unpublished, non peer reviewed and frankly, unreviewable graphs from a creationists website" - is attempting to make the graphs appear less accurate by ignoring the margin of error.

I was asking for the temperature projections that are accurate.

I suppose I should have been more specific. We were talking about temperatures, though. I thought you might suspect I was asking for the accurate temperature projections.

Arctic ice cover seems to be more a product of ocean and wind currents than air or water temperature.

Out of curiosity, what source produced the data for the Arctic Sea Ice cover in the pre-satellite days?

Did the IPCC really suggest that the sea level rise would be somewhere between the minimum projected and the maximum that's about 600% higher? Are they using math or flipping coins?

The argo array was deployed in 2003 and had the bugs worked out, they think, by about 2005.

How does you cartoon deviate from what I said?

It looks like a pretty marked warming trend until 2005 and then a flattening.

The measurements before 1960 show a huge lack of confidence.

The data track after 1960 shows more confidence, but stioll tracks the warming.

Actually, it's worse than that. Spencer moved the models up by about half a degree to make them all look worse than they are.

Why do you think that those waters will ever be anything other than cold?

Do you have the slightest ability to understand that the world is a constantly changing place and it has not been as it is always. That there have been periods of lots hotter temperatures, even hotter than the +6c being discussed????

I don't know how many solar/ocean/atmosphere coupling graphs I made with various percentages. Most of them have the equalization peak around 2004.

I just find it very interesting that when the data collection was a hodge podge of estimates and ad hoc adjustments of data, the warming was very pronounced.

At the the moment the data collection was changed to a system that was both methodically consistent and global in its scope, that warming stopped.

The folks that challenge the recognition of this kind of coincidence as representing a pre-planned outcome seem less and less justified.

Additional data, whether across time or including more locations, seems to undermine the case of the AGW proponents in the vast majority of examples.

That is, if the data is from the real world world and not from the science fiction world of AGW Science.

Taken by itself, it's entirely a non-story.

However, when the rate of warming observed from about 1978 to about 2000 slowed dramatically and may have paused, there was an idea floated that the heat was being sequestered in the deep ocean.

If the heat is not warming the deep ocean, then the ideas of AGW take yet another hit.

It's taken so many hits by now that the only folks who are still buying into the disasters promoted by the IPCC are the Obamatons.

Those who see that Florida is not submerging, the Antarctic is not melting, there is still ice in the Arctic and the government is lying pretty much about everything, are having doubts about this because the assertions of dire consequence are without foundation.

You can't fool all the people all the time. That doesn't mean they won't keep trying.

I read Atlantic, I am even more baffled buy the idea that the worlds strongest current would have trouble picking up hot water species as it often goes past Sout Africa and the water then is brought back to the Southern ocean would be news to anybody who is at all a science type.

How much of a drastic change do you think an impossible 6c rise would be? Do you think that the world has nevver been that hot??????

Plants from cold climates that are in a dormant state can be damaged quite badly by placing them in a warm greenhouse at an improper time.
