******* Even if 2 Same Sex individuals are regular attendees at a given Church - have a valid State issued license - even if other denominations Marry Gays - that Church can legally refuse to Marry those Two forever and cannot be litigated against because of it by LAMBDA - the ACLU or any other group.

Based on the legislation being proposed in California, that Church would face no consequences for refusing to marry them. None. Zero. Ever.

What about the 1st amendment? I'm only talking about the proposed legislation in California that you refuse to read about because it doesn't coincide with your conspiracy views on gays. Here it is one more time...

****** Now that I've read it as initially stated it seems okay and I see that various Church's support it HOWEVER - Two Points - First Assemblymen Leno from his Day One in the Legislature has been focused on Gay Marriage like it's the Holy Grail. Therefore Pardon me if I am doubtful that he might stand by in the future even if this becomes law.

***** Secondly some Church's Will jump aboard in short order and Marry Gays - Unitarians, some Episcopals and some Reformed Jews . When that occurs and becomes routine THEN there might still exist a precedent - a vehicle for an opening to exist for some LAMBDA type group to sue and in the Bay area get a receptive judge - THEREFORE as of now ONLY a clear concise statement by LAMBDA and the ACLU insisting they will NEVER sue any Church will suffice and that I think there will be a reluctance to do.

**** Finally acording to Capt. Courtesy and others all my concerns about Church's being targeted along these lines was ridiculous and unwarranted - however the article YOU presented shows that all along in California many have had this concern so it wasn't just me. Therefore to say it was some bizarre paranoia on my part is a LIE.

If posting evidence that indicates the exact opposite of what you are saying is not enough then there really isn't much more than I can do.

I guess I could get a sworn affidavit from the Godfather of the Gay Mafia indicating that the gay agenda will be amended so that overthrowing religious freedom is not a priority, but it's just so hard to get an appointment with him between his work at recruiting the children of public schools to the homosexual lifestyle and his church burnings. :mrgreen:

***** It's not about overthrowing any Religion . It's all about making the unwilling conform. Those interested in this are not all Gay - BUT Most Gays if Truthful might have to admit that smacking the larger society in it's collective face is a good idea and justified - and you don't have to be a Flaming Queen or Tansevestite type to see it that way.
