Prediction - Democrats will win both Senate seats in the Georgia Run-off

smart people can read Biden's platform and decide to vote to keep the Senate in GOP hands because they don't want Biden jacking up taxes or banning guns: two things he promised to do if elected.

I believe gun bans are very far down the list for democrats. There are a few democratic senators and congressman who would vote against that, and it's not quite the great picture for a Harris tie breaker, cause it's never gonna happen. Unless some crazy shoots up a school again. Then we can see the true colors of our priorities. Though threatening "they will take your guns" has been effective for right wingers for a while now. I can see how you don't want to give up your rallying cry.

Facts are that changes like that require 60 votes in the Senate. It won't matter squat who has the one or two vote advantage in the Senate. The only thing that will matter is who has the ability to bring bills to the floor.

why did EVERY person running for the Democratic Nomination for President call for gun bans if its not important to many Democrats?

yeah, his Supreme court picks were wonderful for the USA as were most of the several hundred judges he appointed. I liked his tax cuts as well. He sure was better for the USA than a Hillary presidency

This is coming from a guy who claimed to be a big Trump supporter until he went 180 degrees the other way because of his alleged hard on for Trump over COVID. Its really hard to take anything you say seriously because you constantly contradict your prior positions

Most Americans think there is a lot of room for improvement in Second Amendment issues. You've got your line in the sand. Do you deny that "protecting" gun rights is a HUGE issue for GOP candidates? Why shouldn't the same be true for Democrats? It's another football, like abortion.

Democrats use gun control to cover up for the fact that they are often soft on real criminals. Plus they like harassing people who tend to vote against them

Well..smart people may realize that there are much more important things on bidens agenda other than banning guns.
Things like ending the pandemic. Healthcare..the economy. Social injustice. Immigration. Foreign policy..
And even..yeah maybe taxes should be higher so future generations don't have to pay for your spending.
Smart people might realize that these things actually need solutions. So they need serious people in Washington to do it..and not be stopped by one man who puts party and personal ideology ahead of the needs of the country.

I have never seen your definition of "conservative" to be very close to what I see that meaning. The social justice comment is pretty much a dead giveaway. The people who need to pay more taxes are the people who demand more and more government-not the one percent who already pay twice as much of the FIT burden as their share of the income

She claims she is a SJW but she pushed laws that put lots of black men in prison, often for drug offenses. Guess what, i oppose putting people in jail for drug offenses
