(Poll) JD Vance: judges cannot "tell the American people they’re not allowed to have what they voted for"

Can judges "tell the American people they're not allowed to have what they voted for"

We agree to disagree.
An appointed federal court judge should not have the total authority to thwart the chief executive of the United States unless upheld by a higher level court.
More to come on this from the Supreme Court.
Then you need to amend the constitution. Because they have they power, explicitly under article 3

You do know that most of the judges bitch slapping Trump are Republican appointed judges, with several being Trump appointed judges right? 😂

Trump is president (executive branch) and judges are judiciary no matter who appointed them. This is a clash between branches of government over boundries of authority. This is how the system of checks and balances is intended to work.

And the judiciary is explicitly empowered to stomp the executive when they violate the constitution. Trump is the worst, anti American piece of shit to have ever sat in the Oval Office. How you can support such an anti American, anti constitution piece of shit is astounding.

I guess a Yale law degree ain't what it used to be.

Please, I am begging you, TRY an armed revolution. I would ****ing love for you guys to do this. So the local PD can absolutely decimate this stupidity.

It's not likely to happen within the years I have left. But, if you can't see it developing you're blind.

I have never supported Trump, but I do support the office of the President. Having the country run by a few hundred mini-dictators in robes is no better than anything you're banging on about.

lol no. You and the other handful of morons who think they can overtake the US military with their small arms is ****ing hilarious. Your local PD will swiftly put that stupidity down.

So do you denounce the current President and his NUMEROUS blatantly unconstitutional actions?

Hyperbolic stupidity. The judiciary is explicitly empowered to stop the executive when it runs afoul of the constitution. Trump is the most anti American anti constitutional president in US history. It’s why judges of no the political leanings, including judges he himself appointed, keep curb stomping his anti American treasonous actions.

In 1776 which side had the greater military force Great Britain or the rebelling American colonists?

In 2025, which side has the greater military force and weaponry? The few dozen fat and out of shape morons with semi automatic small arms, or the US military? 😂

The local PD will swiftly put down whatever stupidity you want to try. But please, I’m begging you…….try 😂

OK, you keep depending on that.
North Korea. It’s summer over there and their dictator is exactly what you’re obviously looking for! Or Pakistan. Or China. You have lots of alternatives if you don’t like the way my country works here.
Think it over.

America is not just your's and your buddies. It is my country as well and is the country of ever single voter who voted for Trump. Maybe it's time for you to get over the thrashing the voters gave Democrats in November and get on with your life...whatever that might be.

Its mine MORE than its yours.....you obviously don't like it here. You are advocating for armed revolution and bitching about the way things work here. There are other countries available for you.....North Korea, Pakistan, China.....all dictatorships to your liking. So intead of writing posts that just whine about the constitutional role of the judicial branch, why not DO something about it to make yourself happier?

Sorry girl, America is my country. I have no intention of leaving, but I am intent on getting the goverment smaller, small enough to fit within the Constitution.

Did you need me to point out where in the constitution the judicial branch is vested with the responsibility of determining whether or not a proposed law or action is permitted by the supreme law of the land? You failed miserably when I asked you whether or not a president (or anyone else) is bound to follow the ruling of the court. You gave me a short answer (yes) but then tried to qualify it with a no followed by a long answer.
There is no “no”. A nation without laws is a dictatorship. I will correct your answer therefore to read “once the court has determined that a law or an action is not permitted by our constitution the law or action must not be permitted to take effect or, if already in effect, must cease immediately.
That’s the way it works here. If you want a dictatorship you’d likely be happier elsewhere.

Then you need to amend the constitution. Because they have they power, explicitly under article 3
A single activist federal judge should not have the power to decide what the president should do or not do.
That's what the appellate or Supreme Court needs to work on.

Because you failed 6th grade civics.

Legislation doesn’t override the constitution 😂
I wonder what song you would be singing if the president was a Progressive Democrat and not a strong Republican who was not named Trump.

True enough. The Supreme Court is considering this. And if they follow that advice, it will literally be the stupidest decision they’ve made since Dred Scott.
It might be stupid to you if you don't like a Supreme Court because it leans to the Right. But it's still the Supreme Court which is the highest court in the land.

Unless what the president is trying to do is inconsistent with the constitution.
IE unlawful.
The remedy for a president who disagrees with the lower court ruling is called “the appeal”, not disregarding the ruling itself as has too often been the case.

But surely the judges can't do anything but follow the people and the people will have spoken?
? That's not what the judiciary is for. Are you being sarcastic?

Not only did I try to answer you, I DID answer you. You keep suggesting I might be happier somewhere else. Nope, I'm happy as a Lark right here where I am.

Here's a suggestion for you. It just might be the Judiciary branch opperating outside it's Consitutional authority, not the Executive branch. Keep thinking about that as time goes by.

The same one. I’m not a partisan hack. I support the constitution no matter who is in office. Unlike Trump taint lickers. When anyone runs afoul of it, I call them on it. You are free to peruse my posting history.
