Re: Poll: Bernie Sanders surges ahead of Hillary Clinton in N.H., 44-37

Hey Hillary, can you feel the Bern?

Poll: Bernie Sanders surges ahead of Hillary Clinton in N.H., 44-37 | Boston Herald

Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has rocketed past longtime front-runner Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, a stunning turn in a race once considered a lock for the former secretary of state, a new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll shows.

Good I don't want to have to vote for Hillary (though in a General she's the better choice than all but Kasich). I will vote for Webb Sanders or Biden in that order over Hillary in the primary.

Interesting to note that Sanders is outpolling Trump. Maybe it's time we embrace a mild form of socialism. Capitalism in America has inarguably failed most of our citizens.

Juding by the stock markets today I would argue strongly that Capitalism is a cure for our current issues.

There are many forms of both, capitalism and socialism. Unrestrained forms of either are not good (healthy). The old chestnut of "everything in moderation" springs to mind. In the natural world, the most beneficial, successful and stable systems are those that have checks and balances. Pure capitlism is no better than pure socialism, different, but no better. If you have all wolves no no sheep, there is no choice but to become canabalistic. If you have all sheep and no wolves the base resources are overtaxed and the system collapses.

So tired of listening to ignorant all or nothing, foo and gloom, my way or no wy bull****. Thankfully, opinions like yours are becoming fewer and fewer in number

how does the stock market help anyone but the top 1%?

Likewise.

I'm at least informed enough to know that Bernie would be a disaster.

That his innane and destructive solutions that appeal to pur least knowledgeable voters would destroy whats left of our already weakened economy.

Which one of Sanders economic initiatives would be beneficial to our economy ?

The independent retirement accounts held by millions is tied to funds in the stock market.

Which one of Sanders economic initiatives would be beneficial to our economy ?

The everything for free initiative. It plays really well with the low-information crowd.

Putting millions of people to work by rebuilding our infrastructure for one.

even if you count those only about half of americans own any stocks, and many countries do not have things like pensions and retirement invested in the stock market, pension fund managers invest in the stock market because it provides the best gains but its not mandatory, and if you were retiring during the dot com bubble or the 2008 crash then you lost your pension entirely, why do you think so many elderly people are going back too work? China, Japan, Norway, even saudia arabia does not tie retirement accounts to the stock market, so why should we?

so unless your retiring tomorrow the stock market doesn't effect you today even if you have a 401k, it only benefits the top 1%

Bernie Sanders Unveils Sweeping Policy Platform To Combat Racial Inequality

I can get behind what he's saying here. Also he's committed to tax reform (high taxes) which is long overdue. The Bush tax cuts were a disaster and even more disastrous was Obama's inability to permanently sunset them.

Fantastic idea! Oh, you want to pull me over for speeding? Sorry, you aren't allowed whitey, send for the Asian cop. I'll wait.

I remember in 2008 Clinton was trailing Obama badly in New Hampshire and then went on her fake crying display about how hard it is being a woman in the race blah blah blah and women came to her rescue in the voting booths in New Hampshire and saved her campaign for a few weeks anyway.

Never underestimate the crass opportunism of a Clinton.

You must not have a 401k, 403b, Roth, or other plan.

it doesn't have to be tied to the stock market or anyother investment for that matter, the people who manage your account choose to invest your money in the stock market because it provides the best returns so a healthy stock market means that retirees get maybe 1-2% more per year then they would if their retirements were invested somewhere else

if thats the only reason the stock market benefits the average american then i say lets do away with it :)

Sorry that should of read, that captalism is NOT a cure for our current issues.

Anyone can change their own contribution direction and investment direction via a website, email, letter, or phone call. A diversified account, split between stocks, funds, and other investment vehicles, will return yearly rates in the 7-10% range with basic growth. You are only going to get a 1-2% rate if you invest in money market funds. Those funds exist to park your long-term investment as you approach retirement age.

I suggest you educate yourself on personal retirement planning. There are tons of free workshops at libraries and webinars online.

Oh I'm sure you could.

Its nothing but a bunch of insubstantial nonsensical identity politics and pandering to the lowest common denominator.

He's appealing to the idiots with nonsense like that. Its what he does.

He appeals to the people who are naive enough to think that the Government should or could be the ultimate arbiter of whats " fair " and " equitable ".

Re: Poll: Bernie Sanders surges ahead of Hillary Clinton in N.H., 44-37

Putting millions of people to work by rebuilding our infrastructure for one.

Lololol !!!

" Stimulus to increase aggregate demand "
...

It doesn't work. But what's so bad about Bernie Sanders " solution " is that he wants to tax " the Rich " ( investors ) and Corporations because its the " fair " thing to do.

So more debt, more poverty, more dependence while he drives out private sector investment.

We've had 7 years of that already.

Re: Poll: Bernie Sanders surges ahead of Hillary Clinton in N.H., 44-37

I don't think the eventual democrat nominee has entered the race yet. Hillary is pretty damaged and has been for decades. She is an unlikeable liar with no successes to brag about. Bernie is way too far to the left to help the democrats in a general election. He would lose the election for them. Be patient. The nominee will enter the fray soon enough, I think.

Typical. Disparage the entity that they expect to pay for their expansion of socialism. Just out-****ing-standing.

Can you show me how after reading his platform, you were lead to the conclusion that police will not be allowed to pull people over for speeding and/or do their duty based on race?
