Palin Top and Bottom choice for 2012

No, I'm just not letting you get away with mischaracterizing someone else's criticism of you.

:D

Come now Will has a history.

Ask him what he meant, specifically. Not just say "yeah what you said" but have him explain what he meant in his own words.

If you are right, I'll retract it. If not.... well, I haven't decided yet.

Interesting survey by Rasmussen:

I'm not really surprised by the results of this poll.
As a liberal Democrat I feel very much the same way. Given a choice on who I would like to see the GOP nominate - Palin would be at the top. I believe she would ensure a shoo-in for the Democrats in 2012.
However, she is also the GOP candidate that I would like least in terms of a possible President. Romney would be my first, and at this point, only choice.

Romney was my choice for the Democrat nomination :2wave:

The wisest thing to do, when you find yourself in an adversarial situation with someone else, is to stick to responding to what they actually do and what they actually say, rather than anticipating what they meant to do or say based on prior history.

My challenge still stands.

Okay, well, since you'll be in the wrong wether or not he's guilty in your eyes, here goes:

No, what scares us is the quantity of rightwing zombies like you who would vote for a ham sandwich if it fit their ideology (wait a minute, you did that already).

Hey, what they heck is that supposed to mean?!

Hell she is not even holding a national elected office anymore
Anymore? She never held a national office and quit, a little over halfway through her term, a state office.

The other interesting thing about this poll is the absence of any interest in Jindal. He was talked about as the GOP Savior a couple years ago, but after his horrible GOP response a few months back he looks to have seriously damaged his chances.
Yeah, right now it's kinda 'tag you're it', but then again it still early. It could be someone just offstage at this point. However, in recent times they have tended to favor retreads-remember Fred Thompson? Flash--Fizzle!!

Also, Newt is showing weakness as well. I expect Newt to rise though as time goes on. Despite all of his ethical issues, he is loved by many in the base and I expect the flock to return to the fold as the campaign develops.
Newt is finished as a national office holder (now joined by Ms. Palin). While he and Palin will stretch the wingers jeans on the talk shows, he, with his closet, and she, as a quitter, won't be seriously contending for national office.

I don't think it matters. She's done with politics, there's no way she could win the nomination now. She quit governor her first term, she has little experience and has shown a willingness to quit when the going gets tough. She is now a non-factor thank goodness.
Exactly what I've been saying, as the mesmerized desperately continue to cling to what will never be.

Moderator's Warning:
Return to the topic at hand which is about a poll where Palin was determined to be both top and bottom candidate for the GOP in 2012, NOT about voting for ham sandwiches. I'm tired of these Palin threads devolving into crap. This ends now.
