Palin hints about 2012?

ANYONE who loves America is infinitely better than Traitor Obama. He's the single worst leader this country has ever been stupid enough to elect and retain in office. I want him impeached. That said, Sarah's too much of a distraction to run for POTUS.

Of course you do, probably because you long for the good old days - when minorities and especially black folks knew their place and civil rights and economic opportunities were suspicious things that needed to be opposed at all costs. We understand fully what you folks are all about.

No, that would be the previous POTUS....

History will prove it, on that score I have no doubt.

Dear Lord! I WANT her to run. Like ive said in other posts, she single handedly ruined the GOP in 2008. This should be FUN! :2razz:

I think the GOP was already singlehandedly ruined during this summer of No, as they took us to the brink in the name of covering the collective asses of the rich in this country.

We'll see whether Boehner's plan gets through the Senate. All the Republicans need is one real, solid political retort to bring to bear and they'll be able to double, if not triple their current following. The question is whether the Senate's plan will have an equal chance at getting through the HOR. Reid has been steadily less and less resistant- his plan is caving in to more and more cuts and less tax reform, and Obama's support honestly isn't doing it that much good. I personally am a fan of the McConnell plan, but since that's a backup if it doesn't work the Republicans essentially win. I was talking to my uncle about this- the Republicans are putting the next election on the flip of a coin. If we get through the crisis successfully, no matter on whose plan, Obama and the liberals win this round and will probably get both a good number of seats in the HOR and Senate, plus he will be re-elected. If our economy crashes, the conservatives win this round and probably get control of the Senate, maintain in HOR, and have a strong chance in the Presidential election. It's a sad day for our country when I can safely say "The conservatives win when America loses."

It sounds as though you only like Obama because he's Black.

At least Bush loved America. Obama hates it, and wants to crash it. Obama is a Communist. Down with Obama.

No I'm not letting this stand. You say you know a lot about Marxism. Find me examples of Obama's actions then point out how they relate to Marxism. Nothing he has done has been slightly Marxist. His health-care bill mandated we buy from PRIVATE companies. Companies that would not exist under Marxism. I'm sure you know the goal of Communism is the abolition of private property. A marxist would have used the BP oil spill as a springboard to push for nationalization, he didn't even mention it. He would have used the recession to try and nationalize the banking industry which he did not even discuss.

It's just a buzz word Conservatives use to inflame. I doubt they mean it and I'm sure the ones who do don't understand it.

I agree normally. That's why I would usually let it go, but ElCid claims he used to be a Marxist in his youth and has read a lot of Marxist literate. When you make claims like that you lose the ability to make such ignorant statements like "Obama is a Marxist" and not be called on them.

Yeah, well I can fully understand how you would reach that conclusion by my comment. I think there are folks here who have strong feelings about Barack Obama because of his race, but I think you have things backwards.

How on earth does anybody engage in any rational conversation with somebody who posts junk like this? It would be like trying to teach a beagle card tricks. There's simply no frame of reference.

Why are you insulting beagles?

I'm only so tolerant of blatant lunacy.

The only people who hate Obama based on his status as black or white, whatever you're saying, are the people who don't understand about politics or just want an excuse to hate him because he hasn't provided them with any other excuse. The trick is, Republicans don't want to admit that Democrats have equal reason to hate people like Palin and Bachmann as Republicans have to hate Obama. The reality is: Palin is an attention seeking woman who has lost her ability to reason. She had it while she was governor of Alaska- she did a great job there, was a respectable politician which is a rare thing in these times. But then she got involved in the current, radicalizing GOP system and got corrupted and destroyed. Nowadays she's no different from Bachmann, ranting about economic and political hypothetical situations and laissez-faire impossibilities that if implemented would be extremely unhealthy for the government, especially as related to the debt. Never mind Keynesian economics- we're talking the total absence of common sense. The only problem liberals have with Obama, so far as I can tell, is that he is too lenient with Republicans- he cuts too much spending, and keeps the big businesses afloat. They have the opposite problem with someone like Palin- she's likely to go off the deep end into right-wing territory even the conservatives won't like when they get there. At least Obama is noticeably moderate- with the radicalization of the GOP, we're not likely to see a moderate conservative until the conservative politicians realize the People desire moderation more than extremism.

Note: the reason I kept mentioning Palin even though I was addressing the comment about Obama is because this thread is, just as a reminder, supposed to be about Palin.

Maybe. In the military, I was trained to 'backwards plan'.

Do you actually believe the ENTIRE nation loves Obama and hates Bush? If so, you're horribly out-of-touch. The worst thing a PC-propagandist can do is believe his own crap. Simply put, I loathe Obama and like Bush, and know for a FACT I'm not alone.

Of course you realize Stalin didn't consider your man Trotsky a 'proper' Communist, and had him killed for it, right? You seem to think there's only one standard for Communists to meet. Wrong.

Palin, the Alaskan Palin is to be admired.
She did what so many of us are only talking about. She went to the front line, and instead of theorizing about what should be done, she went out and did it, in Alaska.
From small town girl to Gov, then being noticed as possible VP candidate is no small feat, regardless of political affiliation.
But as it stands, she does not have what it takes to bring our country back on track, and I am not sure that any, except one or two, do.
Its all fine and good to talk a good talk. Obama had high hopes, until reality sat in.
Most who run for the highest office are full of ideals, and that is fine. But talking about what should be, and and bringing it to fruition, are not the same.
We need someone who's been there, is cool under pressure, has experience with both national and international business and politics. I don't see Palin as that person.

Palin will spend her entire campaign taking impromptu 'intelligence' tests, in public, given by the media. She wouldn't be able to focus on issues, but only 'trivia remediation', to survive the press. Forget it. She's a bad choice. I like her, though.

If only she'd had time to teach her son and her daughter about birth control, she would have been perfection. Guess that 'Just say no' stuff didn't work.

Gee, I must have missed that during my time in the military. Of course, we were busy fighting a war so maybe that's the reason.

Good for you. Loathing somebody you've never met because you disagree with his politics is the mark of a real intellect.

PS Is reading comprehension a new problem for you, or have you always had difficulty in understanding what people write?
