California is fanatical in that way. Many, maybe most, products are required to have stickers on them and notices that specifically state they are for California. For example, a statement that "California has determined this product has a substance determined to cause cancer." That is on a vast list of products, even common stuff like batteries, nearly anything plastic etc. Definitely bullets.

"California compliant" is on lots of products. For example, today at gun shop I looked over their hard and soft gun cases looking for a couple of short ones. One of the cloth gun bags was heavier than the others and said it large letters: "California compliant." It's price was 3 times as high as any others. California Democratic governments are extreme control freaks.

yeah, I bought several "anti walk" pins for an AR-15-and it had that on it. I bought several chrome plated steel weights one puts on an archery stabilizer rod, and it had that warning on it. I have a CMC AR 15 trigger and it has that same sticker on it.

If the sheep get their way will you comply if told you must turn in or register your firearms?

The thing is: there is a person running for President. Her elevator doesn’t go to the top floor. She is a mean vindictive person who has openly stated that she will use state power against anyone she sees as an opponent. She wants to make the Federal Government more authoritarian with her in charge. That there is a microscopic chance she might achieve her goal of the White Hose is why no American should ever disarm, in fact why you should arm up.

I don't mind registering my guns. I register my car. I have a license to drive my car. Why doesn't the gun crowd complain about cars?

I don't think I should have to register my car, either. The DMV is the biggest ripoff in history.

And then a criminal investigation begins. You have not thought of anything the atf has not thought of. They interview your family and friends. They get a search warrant. They put you in a lineup.

Go ahead....roll the dice

An investigation of what crime?

Sounds like nobody really knows where these guns are ... and that is the problem and why guns need to be registered.

What's that going to do? Other than making confiscation easier.

Skyrocketting violent crime rates. How is that a good thing?

That is a false statement and one created by the liberal press to try and force gun control

5 facts about crime in the U.S.

Donald Trump made fighting crime a central focus of his campaign for president, and he cited it again during his January 2017 inaugural address. His administration has since taken steps intended to address crime in American communities, such as instructing federal prosecutors to pursue the strongest possible charges against criminal suspects. Here are five facts about crime in the United States.

1Violent crime in the U.S. has fallen sharply over the past quarter century. The two most commonly cited sources of crime statistics in the U.S. both show a substantial decline in the violent crime rate since it peaked in the early 1990s. One is an annual report by the FBI of serious crimes reported to police in approximately 18,000 jurisdictions around the country. The other is an annual survey of more than 90,000 households conducted by the Bureau of Justice Statistics, which asks Americans ages 12 and older whether they were victims of crime, regardless of whether they reported those crimes to the police.

Using the FBI numbers, the violent crime rate fell 49% between 1993 and 2017. Using the BJS data, the rate fell 74% during that span. (For both studies, 2017 is the most recent full year of data.) The long-term decline in violent crime hasn’t been uninterrupted, though. The FBI, for instance, reported increases in the violent crime rate between 2004 and 2006 and again between 2014 and 2016.

I was referring to countries that have banned guns.

A LOT less... a lot... 6 mass shootings since Port Arthur and before that there were almost 20 in just 25 years... taking all of their history into account it isn't even close... mass shootings happened a LOT prior to a change in gun laws.

There were only 14. Why do you feel the need to lie?

Who is this 'vest' you say the government knows?

I'm confident you have all the necessary skills for running, hiding and surrendering. You'll be just fine whatever happens. After all, you are special. The universe would never allow anything to happen to someone as special as you to your mind. Everything certainly goes like you claim, like how right you were about President Hilary Clinton.

What will come out of it, among other things, is the USA becomes more a police state with new federal and state laws far more restrictive and eliminating rights than the Patriot Act. Everyone will be a suspect. Everyone a narc. Lots and lots of surveillance and police and arrests and trials and ambulance runs. Incessant ranting on television and the Internet. Lots of stuff I don't want to happen - and you do.

It will be armageddon!!!!!!

You do not legally need a license, registration, insurance, or anything else to purchase a vehicle. You also do not need any of those things to operate a vehicle on private land or to transport it on public roads.

I like to drive to the store.

Democrats in Congress are trying to force gun owners to go to the police to report every time they take their gun out of the cabinet or lend it to a friend. That is stupid. The police do not have time or the manpower to record all such movements and they could not spot a dangerous move even if they did.

But that is not all. Democrats and deceived republicans also want to ban guns in the hands of the mentally ill and terror threats while steadfastly maintaining that Christians are mentally ill and pose the greatest threats of terror in the US. That is insane but that is what dummass commie democrats are trying to do. Americans had better keep their guns because these commies are serious about their dummas ideas and they will kill to get their way if they ever get the chance. All communists are like that.

Well the ATF has a convoluted gun registration now. Legally it can't exist. They have doccuments from manufacturer to FFL dealer. So finding the dealer who sold the gun is pretty easy. The dealer must have a record of who he sold it to. Now the ATF can't create a database of these records by law but they can certainly request the doccument from the FFL. If allowed they could make a database of those records. A large task but it could be done.

A trace documents the life of a gun, up to point of sale from a licensed dealer. It will show which manufacturer made the gun, which wholesaler distributed the gun, which federally licensed firearms dealers sold or transferred the gun, and to whom.

There is no comprehensive national system of gun registration. In fact, federal law prohibits the use of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) to create any system of registration of firearms or firearm owners.
