its lose lose. the parents are criminals and should be deported but the children arent. you cant seperate millions of kids from their parents without serious repercussions.
im willing to be real with myself, i understand that our economy would take a hit by getting tough on illegal immigration. but whats more important...money or culture? if it became a choice between the two, i say **** it, send California into the toilet by cutting off their slave labor. jesus its funny how liberals complain about sweat shops in india but they sure want to keep those undocumented mexicans around so we can pay them $2.50 an hour under the table to harvest our grapes.
the first step in solving this problem is immigration reform. we need to make the process of entering the country legally more effecient and much faster while making sure we continue to do thorough checks. all it takes is money. we lose some in ag, put it into immigration, and we make the ag money right back.
