One Reason Trump's in Such a Panic for the Pandemic to End

Beautiful analogy!!!

Hi!

Thank you for the kind 'review' of my post. A retired scientist, I'm trained to look for analogies. If you'd like a peek into how such a mind works, you might be amused by 'A Way of Thinking' on my 'scribble' page: http://spacefillers.blogspot.com/

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

I may well be wrong, but everything about Trump's behaviour points to his demonstrating all the traits of a disturbed sociopath. He meets pretty much every criterion for the diagnosis:

Hi!

It appears that you've done your homework on this. I haven't, to tell the truth. We may never have a 'hands-on' diagnosis by a recognized professional. Thanks for the comment and the link.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Loan payments loom as Trump fights for his political future – and the future of his business

In fact, the hotel’s managing director, Gabriel Constantin, said the coronavirus pandemic had hurt the Trump hotel so deeply — reducing business travel and forcing the cancellation of Chicago conferences — that it might be nine years before their business returned to 2019 levels.
As Trump fights to save his political career, another key part of his life — his business — is also under growing stress.
In the next four years, Trump faces payment deadlines for more than $400 million in loans — just as the pandemic robs his businesses of customers and income, according to a Washington Post analysis of Trump’s finances. The bills coming due include loans on his Chicago hotel, his D.C. hotel and his Doral resort, all hit by a double whammy: Trump’s political career slowed their business, then the pandemic ground it down much further.

Eleven more days...
Biden on the other hand has never had a job in his lifetime, has never built a business. He has absolutely no clue what it is like to build something and have it destroyed. He is oblivious like most in the beltway. Trump's businesses like millions of businesses in this country especially those in the hospitality industry are on the brink.

You would have them die. If they do it will take more than 9 years to come back.

Why do you care about Trump's businesses?
I don't see how that has anything to do with Trump's Presidency.

No, of course you don't. And you never will.

No, of course you don't. And you never will.
And you make no effort to support the importance or relevance of your contentions.

Trump thinks ignoring the pandemic as it reaches new records is the way to go.

Fauci: It’s Been ‘Several Months’ Since Trump Last Showed Up At COVID Task Force Meeting
White House COVID-19 task force member Anthony Fauci said on Friday that it’s been a while since President Donald Trump attended a meeting with the team.
“That was several months ago, Chuck. Several months ago,” Fauci told MSNBC host Chuck Todd.

Guess that's one way to deal with it.

A golf course is barely on the radar for essential businesses, and Trump's were already failing before the virus hit. Who gives a shit if they go down?

That is nonsense. States which had earlier mask “mandates” like CA or NY, for example, are not seeing a return to normal (pre COVID-19) motel/hotel business volume.
Because no one is coming and going from other states to CA or NY.

Exactly. It is not a limit on hospitality industry supply which is having the impact - it is the lack of demand.

We actually did quite well....then Memorial Day hit....followed by graduations and July fourth and we blew it. The shortsightedness of people. It takes all of us - we are interconnected, We could have saved lives and had our economy back if people could follow the rules as well as stay the hell away from crowds. Everyone who doesn’t wear a mask and stay out of crowds clearly has no interest in opening the economy and saving lives .
