Rep. Mary Miller, an Indiana Republican, painted a dire situation, deeming Biden’s removal from office a matter of national security:

“For the safety of our nation, Joe Biden must resign. He could not remember basic facts about his life. He is not competent to remain as Commander-in-Chief & every day that he remains, he puts America at risk. . .” - Rep Mary Miller

Speaker Mike Johnson described the president as: “A man too incapable of being held accountable for mishandling classified information is certainly unfit for the Oval Office.”

Speaker Mike Johnson said on X: “The President’s press conference this evening further confirmed on live television what the Special Counsel outlined. He is not fit to be President.”

Senators Mike Lee of Utah and Rick Scott of Florida said “It’s time for his cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment."

Despite Special Counsel Hur's devastating report yesterday, White House lawyers predictably refuse to concede that Biden’s mental capacity is in any way diminished.

Anyways, it's dumb for the GOP to be trying to get Joe Biden removed from office - either with Comer's futile impeachment efforts, or by invoking Amendment XXV. The GOP should be doing everything within their power to ensure that Joe Biden is the one who faces Trump in November. If the dems boot out Joe and nominate a competent candidate, who's fit for the job, then it could get rough for Trump.

From the people who ignored and continue to ignore blatant insurrection and subversion of our elections and democracy I'll pass on what any con thinks.

For three years the gop has done not much but they sure as hell are good at investigations and impeachments of the democrats.

I doubt that Biden’s cabinet wants to work for Kamala Harris or think she has a decent chance of being re-elected as POTUS a few months from now.

So here's amendment XXV.

4. Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers
of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law
provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of
the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is
unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President
shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting
President.

So you need Kamala Harris AND either the cabinet OR congress.

The GOP might get congress, but not the VP. And the cabinet isn't going to do it.

There is no route to this happening. Period.

Hur's report was a political hit job by another R special counsel that couldn't find anything to convict with, so he went after unrelated irrelevant info.

Refer to Durham's report for similarities.

@SkyChief slavishly supports a guy who openly says he'll be a dictator and wants to be president for life.

'Cause he's really concerned about America.

There isn't even a word in the English language that describes how lame your argument is.

So I shall invent one.

falament (noun)
[ˈfal ə mənt]
an argument based entirely on a false premise, or imaginary situation.
🙂

Well Joe Bi-den has always been a blathering idiot, so I would mark his metal state as unchanged.

He was a blathering idiot in the Senate, as VP, and when leftist blathering idiots decided to vote for him to be King idiot.

Congratulations! Play games with stupid people win stupid prizes.

I'm fine with Joe being King idiot a few more months, or years if it comes to that. The guy is not smart enough to do any real damage, and neither are his voters.

Damage to your plans to end the Republic?

Biden is doing fine---all one has to do is look at the state of the nation economically, etc.....

Damage to your plans to end the Republic?
Don't have any plans to end the Republic, just to get it out of the grip of the Progressive one world humanists and back in the hands of God fearing people that think government should fear the people, not people should fear the government.

And if you can't do that at the voting booth? What then?

Joe Biden is very popular with most democrats, so he should do really good in November.

I'm hopeful that the GOP Congress members are unsuccessful in unseating Joe Biden. They should be doing everything they can to keep Biden as the Democratic incumbent. IMO.

And if you can't do that at the voting booth? What then?
We play the game to win and for keeps.

Always another election to win.

Care to define the bolded?
Meaning the stakes are real, it affects real lives, here and elsewhere around the world. So there is no limit to what we will do to win, but you and I both know the forum rules so stop baiting.

Why would you fear the government? Cheating on your taxes?

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Johnson's comment is the funniest because surely he won't be backing Trump if that's his criterion.
