The state of Israel spent decades, and millions of shekels, trying to prove the biblical Exodus, ... and came up empty! No evidence. They put teams of their best archeologists throughout Sinai, and not only did they NOT find evidence of wandering 40 years in the wilderness, they could not even find evidence of JEWS in EGYPT !! Nobody had a bigger stake in it's confirmation than Israel, and their scientific conclusion is that it simply did not exist.

Rather than approaching their "investigation" from a purely scientific perspective, your video from The History Channel approaches it from the commercial need to sell it to most Americans who are already believers in the bible, and will sit through it, drooling over every minute, while "History" sells them soap. It is the worst type of confirmation bias - a confirmation bias not even driven by belief, but a confirmation bias driven by profit!

Nothing in your video dog-and-pony show eclipses the hard evidence of the litany of Earth and planetary sciences that vaporize the Genesis cosmology. Like I wrote before, Darwin is the least of your problems. You can't even get past physics.

If you watch the video, you will find many reasons. The Egyptians today don't wish anything to do with proving the Exodus for various religious and political reasons. There are "experts" (generally liberal/agnostics) who will not capitulate that the ancient Egyptian records may be askew by possibly several hundred years. Funny how they want to twist the Biblical record and say that it's in error, but Pagan Egyptian Pharaoh god history must be entirely correct. I don't know of any television show ever made that doesn't approach programming from a commercial standpoint. However, I don't see how one viewpoint is any less valid than any other to totally exclude all the findings. As for the 40 years wandering in the wilderness, it seems to me that even the Bible admits that the shoes of the Hebrews never wore out (so GOD answered the question thousands of years before you even asked). But if you are against both GOD & miracles, I simply cannot comprehend your unwillingness to be as magnanimous with the Biblical accounts as you appear to be with those of the Egyptians. As the video did demonstrate that if thousand of years from now, researchers are off by even say 50 years, they could discredit that World War II even happened. I mean, as an example, scientists (not all) have come to accept that the dinosaur went extinct 65 or 66 million years ago -------- after living on the earth approximately 165 million years. I in fact believe that 1,000,000 years give or take is quite a swing that makes a few 100 seem insignificant to say the least. Of course these very same individuals can in no scientific way explain nor demonstrate how soft tissue from dead dinosaurs could possibly exist for over 1 million years let alone 65 million (give or take 1,000,000 years). It's just not feasible. Its far more logical that a worldwide FLOOD buried all the dinosaurs some 5000 years ago and that all any scientist can do is try to discover the age of fossilized bones that are so badly contaminated, that any honest calculation would be impossible ---- given the FLOOD. I mean that researchers & archaeologist went crazy when they discovered some woven material and the brain of the wearer still around after only their estimate of 8 thousand years in a peat bog. So, I'm not the only one who has a lot of explaining to do. I at least have GOD on my side. Who do you have..? Matthew 24:38-39

There is only ONE, who is God......there is no other. Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, born a true human being, proved by the cross and it's his blood which saves us. Your Jesus could not have died on the cross, but only a nature he assumed. Trins even speak of Jesus as if he speaks at times from one nature, then other times from the other nature, only to make scripture fit, lol.

Jesus has been glorified, receiving the promise of the HS.....of course the body Jesus now has is not flesh and bone. It surely was when he walked this earth and the time between the resurrection and ascension, Jesus was still in a body of flesh and bone, but once ascended receiving the promise of the HS, Jesus is now glorified. Paul speaks of this body and the same body Jesus now has, so will we.

You must have been taught and believe the trinity came from God and scripture, but that's not true. Even during Paul's time, he was contending with false prophets/apostles and the spirit of antichrist. Original Christians who held onto the faith were severely persecuted and put to death, because of which was common during the time, "syncretism", a mixture of religious beliefs and this is how paganism crept into Christianity.

By the time of Nicene, Platonic and Greek philosophy ruled the world amongst the elite and religious leaders. These brought in ancient religions from Egypt and Babylon with their own twist and a Roman dictator accepted it as the government's religion. The rest is history, easy to search, study, and find.

but theology really isn't a math problem. when people do the Trinity, you are dealing with the Whole Council of God.

most False Doctrine occurs with Cherry Picking; Systematic Theology is rarely taught in church, so many are Doctrine Deficient.

Jesus is not The God. You folks can try and cause your human thinking style to try and make my statement false, but that is because you are human. Of course, I am, too. But for some reason I know that Jesus is not The God. I may never be informed of why I know that, but I am always holding out hope on that. Thus that other thread I started about The Spirit, that I am not finished with, even though I haven't been able to post there for a bit. And my studying in that other thread in the philosophy section is also related to all these explorations I have gotten into. It's also very, very strange how I got onto this path of study. I'm not completely sure I was fully responsible for the start of this studying, but it sure would be less of a burden if I were sure I was.

And so? GOD in three persons...... The Smith family in three individual persons. By the way, Jehovah translates to I AM THAT I AM ----- not to GOD. The word for GOD is Elohim. And Elohim is the plural form for GOD. And while some will argue that that is the way the Majesty of GOD is emphasized. There is just as much to suggest that GOD is a plurality of 3 individuals who united are ONE GOD and individually are still ONE GOD. GOD's funny that way. But you may try to create GOD in your image ---- it's not ever good...

Just like a nation is actually the collection of all its citizens, or this DebatePolitics Community is actually a collection of all of us, even those we see as banned; so to, The Spirit Of The Lord is all of us.

That bit about counting persons is simply because you are thinking like a human and not thinking within The Spirit of The Lord; of God.

Honestly, I can't imagine even taking the time to read your post when you seem to be totally incapable of acknowledging how the science of physics alone has totally obliterated any biblical timeline in Genesis, and done it for over a hundred years already. As I pointed out, Darwin and evolution is really the least of your problems. The dynamics of geology are well understood, including sedimentation, erosion, vulcanism, crystallization, petrifaction, fossilization, and plate tectonics. We know what things are made of, how they are made, and how long it takes to make them. Physics, astrophysics, geology, zoology, meteorology, forensic meteorology, genetics and genetic genealogy, oceanography, biology, glaciation .... all of these totally different scientific disciplines, and others, manage to support one another in the confirmation of the age of our planet, the forces that have shaped it, and the beginning of plant and animal life on Earth, including mankind.

Genesis is a fairy tale told to a precocious child. Nothing more - nothing less.

Nipper, maybe the part that @Daisy is missing is when Jesus came to earth Incarnated, he humbled himself of all his Glory.

so some may naturally think he wasn't God.

but for many their view of God is Tiny, very small and he fits in their little imaginations.

however God is bigger than we can understand, much bigger. but God fits inside the Big Doctrine of the Trinity.......so i accept the Evidence of that Doctrine and don't try to down size it like some New Car that gets smaller.

Nipper, stay with a BIG God, bigger than we know or can put into words for a start.

You like to let others think for you unless it concerns the Bible? There are Creation scientists working in all the fields that you mention above. However, remove the cap stone of abiogenesis the entire arch of naturalism totally collapses.

Actually, the word INCARNATION mean deity assuming human form. No wonder Witnesses don't like to talk about the birth of CHRIST and shy away from Christmas. Angels worship the baby, shepherd worship the baby, the wise men bringing gifts for the child. It's enough to make even a Witness wonder ------ and on a yearly bases? Heaven forbid!!!!

JESUS emptied HIMSELF and assumed the FORM of a SERVANT ------ that would humbly allow the FATHER to move into the position of JESUS' GOD. The ENTIRE WORD of GOD must me studied to realize how GOD works out HIS plan. Old Testament ---- New Testament ----- culminates with the REVELATION of CHRIST as GOD. The Witnesses are concerned about one name, and everything else is neglected.
