Officer Byrd violated her civil rights

She chose to join an angry mob, that attacked police, broke windows and doors and threatened the lives of elected officials.

Taser, unreliable and takes time to take effect.

Mace, not stopping a mob.

Baton, hands on. Stupid.

Butt of his firearm? OMFG. Doubly stupid.

They investigated and cleared it, using people far more experienced in these things than either of us. Officially, that's the end of it.

Unofficially, if they had set up machine guns and mowed down everyone on the premises, they could have justified it.

So be careful which violent mobs you join and which barricades you try to force yourself through, folks.

Fighting with police is a lame game to start with, and the prizes suck.

It’s sad that Ashli Babbit lost her life but it was all due to her own actions.

She wasn’t there alone. Reality is she was part of the violent, out of control mob who had just shattered all the windows trying to break in, with Congress members being feet away.

She was the first breaking in through one of the windows that the violent, out of control mob had just shattered, with the mob right behind her.

And she wasn’t even unarmed, she had a knife in her pants pocket.

Byrd did his job.

Thus what happened. Good shoot by Officer Byrd....stopped the MAGAts in their tracks when nothing before that did.
