When he WAS President he took waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy more vacation time than Obama, if you don't believe me then google it, whats good for the goose is good for the gander...
I dont see how Bush's vacation is relevant to Obamas job performance.
Which accomplishes what? It makes you feel good?
How do you know that?
Please stay focused on Present Moment Awareness .
OH REALLY??This thread is about OBAMAs vacation.
Just how many vacation has Obama taken since January 2009?
How does he compare to his two-term predecessor, George W. Bush?
You wanna talk about job performance, Obama's approval rating is at 44% those turds in the Republicon Congress are at 13% NEXT...I dont see how Bush's vacation is relevant to Obamas job performance.
If you think that's all the work a president does in a typical day, i have a bridge to sell you.
At least Obama works between his shots and doesn't seek out boom-microphones and cameras .

Really?
Do you work a 9-5 job? At the end of the day, do you have the opportunity to go do what you want? You pretty much do, huh? So - if you had the money to do so and that's what you really wanted to do when you're off at five in the afternoon, would you go golfing? Would you do so more than once a week? Maybe. Some people do...
...and when they do so, that's not a vacation - that's something they're doing AFTER WORKING HOURS.
Of course the president is on the job 24/7 no matter where he's at, even on vacation - and most of us retired military understand this. When crap hits the fan, we're called in, we've gotta go. But that doesn't stop us from going golfing after working hours if there's no sudden emergency that requires our immediate attention.
So relax. Golf is not a vacation - it's a hobby that one does after working hours.
What double standard??And during the time of GWB I am sure you were right there criticizing those vacations. So, why the double standard? Are you as a progressive pleased with the impression that Obama is leaving with his vacations, even though they occupy less overall time, you certainly can't be pleased that the current administration is giving off the impression that they are so detached from the job can you?
It's what the thread is about .I dont see how Bush's vacation is relevant to Obamas job performance.
What double standard??
Did you even read the OP's link?
Bush 381 days of vacation to Obama's 129 ...Trips Bush 58 to Obama's 20.
That is ONE THIRD of the vacation time that Junior took.
If The current President had taken 381 days vacation and I wasn't upset ...then that would be a double standard.
I would be pleased if he only took half as many vacation days as did Junior, but he only took ONE THIRD!
Ah, ah, ah....You want to only use the past when it benefits you in an argument...Not too honest Numby.
You totally missed the question intentionally I think...Here, I'll repost it for you:

When Bush was President i thought the WH was in redneck TexASS, :moon:, Bush took way more vacation than Obama, if you Repukes and tea maggots don't like Obama taking vacations, then win a Presidential election, something you have been unable to do for a longtime...
Vacation = not doing any work related to your job
Now, how many days did Bush do nothing related to his job? No briefings, no reviews of anything, no discussions with anyone about anything related to the US or the world? Please provide evidence too. Thank you in advance.
Right back at you, chief. You never criticized bushs vacations.
I can't say that I have the impression that they are so detached from the job ... and I don't believe that most Americans have that impression either.
This is strictly a republicon echo chamber sentiment ... "they said it about Bush so we'll say it about their guy."
It is an invented outrage, but it doesn't click with the American people ...The numbers don't add up.
129 days over six years ... that adds up to about four weeks vacation a year. That is the vacation time I got at my last two jobs and most Americans are similar.
By contrast Bush took TWELVE weeks a year vacation. Who the **** gets that?
He just took one to Hawaii in April. Do you get 2-4 vacations a year? Do you get to take a vacation when you have responsibilities at work? Are you as effective at working between golf holes as you are sitting in your office with your coworkers? He can take a break when he EARNS it. If he cant handle the job, lets get someone in there who can.
Who the hell cares at this point what Bush took for vacations?.
OH REALLY??
Read the first two lines of the OP:
This thread is about COMPARING Obama's vacation time with Junior's.
If all you want to do is bash Barack ...You are off topic.
So, we can only judge presidents from here on out by what their predecessor did, and as long as we can say "the other guy did..." that makes it ok?He set the precedent for what looks bad.
One forth of the year on vacation for eight years makes any other president appear to be more on the job by contrast.
