Obama's ailing grandma

Barack Obama is going to Hawaii to be by his ailing grandmother's side. He loves her dearly and that's nice. We should all pray for his grandma to recover. Obama is a great man. If he wins, he will end the war and the recession. That's why I voted for him.

Is that why he threw his grandma under the bus during the racist preacher controversy when he made the racist comment she was just the typical white woman?

My thoughts are with him and his grandmother in this time of crisis.

I still hope John McCain beats his sorry ass in the election on Nov 4th.

Totally wrong, he called her the typical white woman when it came to race.......Just imagine if a white person said that about a black person....It would be hell to pay and you know it.........It was a racist remark but because he is black he got a pass...........

It depends on how it being used. While there is no 100% accurate way of describing someone, there are certain characteristics that tie certain groups togethor.

Jeez, guys. Please show a little respect. Obama's grandmother is most likely going to die, he is probably hurting, and he wants to see her before she passes. All these horrible comments are tacky, folks. Threads like this are where you are supposed to leave the politics at the door, and show a little compassion. Anything else is just plain anti-American, IMHO.

"Oh how amazingly well timed! His "mother gets sick" just before the election. Going for the sympathy vote I'll bet ya".

It's a sad commentary on the state of political discourse I'd even wonder such, more so in that I'm probably being way too nice in the crap we'd hear.


Hope the grandmother gets better, nothing sucks more then to get old and having something go wrong with old bod.

The left is too scared of McCain's mom haunting us to make fun of her dying. No. I am not kiddin'. She scares me. Not because of her age but because she's like those old ladies you see staring out of windows and never saying anything.
