Tell me, how would she do more for blue collar voters? Why do you believe that? I haven't heard of any policy. All that gets offered up is she has experience.
I actually have explained this, though maybe not in this thread(which has grown and mutated). First, it is the "Clinton brand". This area did incredibly well under Bill Clinton, better than it has during my lifetime(I am 43 by the way, to give you an idea what that means). Unemployment, which tends to run about 2 % above state average, was under 5 %, wages where up, both hourly wages, and we worked more hours. The big farmers complained, as it was almost impossible to get help. Hell, Bill Clinton is almost a folk hero, and Hillary benefits from this.
Clinton's economic policy is basically a continuation of Bill Clintons, with the exception of free trade. It is therefore believed that since it worked well for Bill Clinton, and he would be there to offer advice to his wife, that it would hopefully work well for her.
Further, with her work on health care during Bill Clinton's presidency, we get the impression that she actually cares for and wants to help people like us. Obama and Clinton, on policy, are pretty similar, so that caring, and the experience of her husband as an advisor, are key ideas.
