I never read that book and I have never read a thing from Thomas Sowell. Nada. Zilch. Zero.

But I like to use critical thinking, at least I try to be mindful to use it and I try to attempt to do it. That does not mean I use critical thinking all the time nor that I'm running live, hot, turned out 24/7 in my awareness with various bits of info streaming across my eyes or into my mind.

But at least I attempt it. Which seems the vast majority of people don't.

Supposedly, you're are supposed to be taught critical thinking skills in college. Supposedly. But most come out of college waiting for the leaders of the political party to tell them what to think. In a way, this includes at times just absorbing without question any info the FBI, NSA, or local cops tell you. Is it ironic--if law enforcement or "intelligence" ever knows *everything* and are the only ones that can be right, that inner-city Black-Americans in a particular North Side neighborhood of Milwaukee figured out a serial killer was operating in their neighborhood before the police did, and adamantly claimed so even after the police kept telling them no serial killer is at work.
