No pride flags but Confederate and Nazi may be okay.

Spin doesn't change the fact that we are discussing a teacher or administrator pushing a political agenda, instead of teaching.

So.... your support of ignoring the real purpose of schools, so as to push your lefties and anti-American ideology onto children,

is you losing this argument and showoing yourself to be a bad person.
You just make up shit and then claim I said something. have a nice day. Go protest the pride flag and vote for the fascist scum that now permeate the repuke party.

"Is you losing the argument" SMH..

You've admitted that they would be pushing your political agenda instead of teaching. THAT WAS TEH POINT.

That you spun it, as a good thing, is irrelevant.

Here is your words, admitting my point, but trying to spin it as a positive.

"Yea, to actually respect and treat with decency members of the LGBTQ community. Horrible I know."

THus, we see that your claim that I "made up shit" was a LIE.

That's nice. I was asking if you would abandon the symbol, if you would let them define it, despite wanting it for yourside.

Of course, the lefty dodged the question. As lefties always do.
Nice attempt at gotcha, but, again, you fail at baiting.

"TEH POINT" Were you homeschooled?

lol. "nearby"? You mean miles away and decades earlier?

That you cite that as "Evidence" of racism, is you revealing that you have no real evidence of racism.

As I said, this nation has had a bi-partisan consensus on racial equality since the mid 60s.

So, your claim that it is used today, "often" or whatever it was, is just not true.

This is you lefties hasseling good people for no reason.
Reagan goes to Mississippi and speaks of states rights. What do you think that means? He had quite a negative record - tho at times favorable - on civil rights thereafter.

You keep doing the same thing. Creating bullshit. You do it well. Obviously you could care less about respect and decency. That is evident in your every post.

Different meanings for different folks. Which today different meanings has no place, everyone is expected to attach the same meaning. Perhaps intolerance to different meaning. The swastika if another prime example, for Buddhist it means one thing, to most others especially here in American it’s a symbol of Nazism. Which meaning should the swastika have? The meaning that has been around for 2500 years or the meaning from the 1940’s?
Yes, intolerance of different meanings. And trying, I think, to impose a current world or cultural interpretation on all time.

"TEH POINT" Were you homeschooled?
"Teh" is an alternate spelling of "the" used primarily in internet conversations to indicate irony.

He was pointing out the irony in your continued objections despite having just admitted the point you were arguing against.

Google is your friend. Use it sometimes 😎

Like the 10 commandants, forced prayer and mandatory bibles?
No, like the swastika and which meaning it should have, "the meaning that has been around for 2500 years or the meaning from the 1940’s." You know, like what the person to whom I was responding said.

Ok, explain to us why the Nazi flag or Confederate flag could be shown as teaching tools, but a Pride flag should not.
Is that what I claimed? I just said it had nothing to do with fascism.

Gee dude, in case you hadn’t noticed the Nazis didn’t simply vanish when the Soviets smashed their way into Berlin and crushed the Third Reich.
Yes, they still live in your head and that of countless other Russians.

Symbols can have different meanings to different people along with meaning different things at different times in history. Culture differences can also influence on how one views a symbol.

And the challenge is in trying not to impose your meaning on a time in which you didn't even live!

When I was in grad school, everything was seen through the prism of women's rights. Well, no, earlier civilizations had different sensibilities and belief systems and didn't see everything our way. They saw it their way, and trying to impose our interpretation doesn't really work, whether it's women's rights or what a flag or symbol means.

I remember when I was in school I would look and text books and see Nazi and Confederate flags because they were historical I never saw a rainbow flag or that idiots new model with the pink and blue Chevron on it
Ideologies aside, those flags are just ugly 🤢🤮 Whoever's in charge of LGBTQ branding needs to be fired. I bet I could have ChatGPT whip up a better LGBTQ flag in a few seconds.

I like the standard six striped pride flag. But that being said the relevance in history will be a lot smaller than the Nazi flag, the Confederate flag, the Japanese flag and so forth.
