Aww, a couple insurrectionists got tazed? Cry me a river.

Weird how totally fine you were with far, far more brutal behavior by police when the victims were black people protesting police brutality.

Wait this is claiming that police snipers were shooting into the crowd of scum buckets? How come more of them are not dead or wounded? I call bullshit.

So...the truth is starting to come out.

I suspect there will be some police receiving criminal charges.

Welcome to the ACAB movement brother. I am assuming you are against the systemic issues with our police force that lead to officers being excessive with use of force? Right? Right?

These people were already committing a crime, though not one that anyone was charged with. They had entered the Capital grounds over barriers designed to keep them out. Do you think none of them had been told by LEO's to disperse?
Law and order party my ass.

Right wingers lie about everything. They view the law as a weapon to be wielded against their enemies, not something that is supposed to restrict them.

Meh, if there is one thing you can learn from the OP.........

.....it's that maga violence is always someone elses fault.

"They are never responsible for what they do"

You have no trouble believing that crap do you? Truth, how many dead people from gunshots died outside the capitol that day? Peaceful protest?

All the violence that day from the trump supporting crowd there to stop the steal was ok, the police protecting themselves, not ok, apparently.

Remember how cult leader said he'll "be there with you".....

......and then he "immediately deployed the nation guard" against you.

Yeah, that was awesome. ;)

And as a mass mob, making their threats very loud and verbally clear, they would have endangered Congress inside. Getting to them and Pence was their loudly stated goal. IMO the cops could have used any level of force needed to protect those inside from a (proven) violent mob.

I still am amazed that it didn't turn into a shoot out.
Imo, one reason for that result is that most of the ammosexuals are big talkers. People are not wired to shoot people.
"Last week’s Random Facts column discussed the reluctance of soldiers to kill an enemy, as covered by Lt. Col. Dave Grossman, an Army Ranger and military historian, in his book, “On Killing.” Much of Grossman’s work is based on World War II studies by Army Brig. Gen. S.L.A. Marshall who found, after interviewing thousands of combat soldiers, that only 15 to 20% would fire at the enemy. According to Grossman, “Those who would not fire did not run or hide — in many cases they were willing to risk greater danger to rescue comrades, get ammunition, or run messages. They simply would not fire their weapons at the enemy even when faced with repeated waves of banzai charges.”

Is that a provocative enough thread title.

You know what, I do not give a crap about your thread. I don't care what else is in it beyond the tasing. I don't even care about the tasing. That is what happens when you purposefully put up a provocative and misleading thread title like that. It is such a turn off that I don't even care what else comes after it. CONGRATULATIONS

Who give a ****. They should have been using real bullets and aiming better. Perhaps it would have deterred more rioters from proceeding.

You can bet your ass, the next time these morons try this, cops will be shooting real bullets.

Me too. And I have Grossman's book. Very insightful.
