He'll be the starter in LA. His numbers were better last year and his $15.5 mil salary qualifies for the mid-level exception.
They gave up Danny Green and a late first-round pick. Green is a shooter that doesn't even shoot that well anymore. His defense will be missed.

Dennis can at least score. He is proven at that.

Losing Rondo and Avery Bradley is a blow but those players are not worth overpaying. They were both on the verge of being out of the league. The Lakers can find replacement level players in free agency or the draft on the cheap.

I like Lebron, AD and Schroder combination more than KD, Kyrie and James Harden, that is for sure.

Milwaukee however may be amassing the better squad, especially with Jrue Holiday.

Good for Harden wanting to leave Houston because of his owner's ties to Trump. Good for him.

Bucher says that he initially believed that the termination of the Daryl Morey and Mike D’Antoni era in Houston was making top Rockets players want to jump ship, but Bucher says that ‘Tilman Fertitta’s strong Republican support and donations is one of the things that is contributing to this dissatisfaction.’

Bucher even added ‘there is a revolt here because they look at Fertitta as a guy who supports the current President.’

Tilman Fertita is a disaster as an owner.

may have been wrong about LaMelo Ball. Hey looks like he has Pete Maravich-like playmaking ability.

Klay Thompson with a very serious knee injury. Out for the year most likely.

Warriors need to draft LaMelo Ball!

LaMelo went to Jordan's Hornets. Warriors grabbed a 7-foot Center and number 1 was a shooting guard I never heard of picked by Minnesota.

Damn, Klay is turning into Boogie Cousins.
He turned 30

Risk factors
Factors that may increase your risk of Achilles tendon rupture include:

  • Age. The peak age for Achilles tendon rupture is 30 to 40.
  • Sex. Achilles tendon rupture is up to five times more likely to occur in men than in women.
  • Recreational sports. Achilles tendon injuries occur more often during sports that involve running, jumping, and sudden starts and stops — such as soccer, basketball and tennis.

Update on some player movement:

Danny Green: Traded to Oklahoma City and then traded to Philadelphia
Seth Curry: Traded to Philadelphia to join his father-in-law Doc Rivers

Oklahoma City: Stocked with too many future draft picks to count, seriously

Ricky Rubio: Traded to Oklahoma City and traded back to his former team, Minnesota.
Gordon Hayward decides today if he stays with Boston or leaves

How many first-round draft picks will the Thunder have through 2026?
The exact number will be determined by pick protection results, but Oklahoma City could have up to 17 first-round selections through 2026. That's more than two per year. If the Rockets, 76ers or Clippers become bad in the coming years, it's possible they will wind up with multiple lottery picks in more than one season.

Indiana has resigned Justin Holiday, and they are trying to sign-and-trade for Gordon Hayward.

It looks like Charlotte will actually be competitive this year.
None of Jordan's gambles on tall but slow white guys has paid off yet. I doubt this one will either.

Maybe Mike believes in Affirmative Action....in reverse.

You did see him in Utah, right? And Butler?

I would take him over Stephen Curry right now.

I think they rank Gordon around 88th in the league. Not good. Certainly not worth $120 Million. Too many injuries.
