It's relatively easy:

A) tell Iran in an ultimatum to evacuate their nuclear sites within 24 hours.

B) drop a significant amount of "bunker-breaking" bombs on all their nuclear sites and wipe out their military infrastructure.

C) pay them 50 Bio. $ afterwards so they can build green energy sites instead of nuclear sites. Iran is 3x as large as Texas and has vast amounts of hot deserts and windy areas. So, they should build a lot of solar and wind energy farms.

If they don't comply and use their money for nuke sites again, bomb them again until they "get it" and go green.

They don't need to "go green". They have a LOT of oil.

If nuclear was the answer to energy, then we would have them all over America. It's the byproducts that they want. Both a blessing and a curse.

LOL, this whole war is not about green energy- it's about preventing a nuclear war.

Bombing people into going green- now there's an interesting thought. So who's gonna bomb America into submission like that? They are the biggest polluters on the planet.

I'm not saying "bombing the people of Iran", I say bomb their nuclear sites at Fordo, which is inside a mountain. There should be hardly any people there after an ultimatum.

Nuclear is the most efficient form of clean energy, to tell another country they cannot develop ANY nuclear power whatsoever is the height of narcissism and hypocrisy.

We don’t have nuclear power all over America because of capitalist greed. Building a safe nuclear power plant with all the stuff needed to operate within regulation cuts into profits.

Look at France for an example of nuclear as the answer to energy. The government owns and operates all of their reactors with no concern for delivering profits to shareholders.

What happens when those strikes spread nuclear material through the air? Or result in a reactor melting down a la Chernobyl? Will that have no effect on the people of Iran?

Oil is a thing of the past. Very polluting.

Solar, wind, biomass is the future.
The only country I know of that generates even most of its electricity from those is Denmark, an advanced, small country. Iran still stones people to death for adultery. You really think this is realistic?

I'm no big fan of nuclear energy at all, because outdated and dangerous and toxic.

But the thing with Iran is that they don't want the nuclear energy, they deliberately misled the IAEA and everyone else into thinking they would only use it for civilian matters, but actually their goal is the nuclear weapon to get rid of the "Zionist Entity" ... this must be stopped.

The US can do this ... they can give them an ultimatum and then bunker-bomb their nuke sites and prevent Israel from being destroyed.

Iran needs to understand that the one with the longer d**k wins. And the US has the longer c**k, not Iran ... because the US actually has nukes that it could drop on Iran.

It's too late for that. Israel just created a new generation of Iranians & Islamic extremists across the ME. Throwing $$$ at em won't work.

That’s just one site. Iran has other nuclear reactors that aren’t buried in mountains. You called for bombing all of Iran’s nuclear facilities.

But bombing and destroying Fordo would probably set them back at least 10 years in their nuke development ... and it might be enough to continue with diplomatic talks.

People think Trump is some kind of Dirty Harry Badass. He is a weak vacillator. He is going to give Iran, Russia, and China a huge victory and force Israel to stop short of victory.

Trump is going to make sure they get nukes.

So now you are backtracking from your plan in the OP? Realized it might have some catastrophic flaws?

I am not backtracking.

Regular nuclear power plants are not using highly enriched uranium for their electricity production for regular citizens.

They shouldn't be bombed of course.

What matters are sites like Fordo, where the Iranians cheated the IAEA for years and others too, so they can produce the highly-enriched uranium there, so they can build nukes to destroy the "Zionist Entity" (= Israel), which they see as a cancer.

These sites are isolated in mountains and could be targeted. Especially after an ultimatum.

All talk and no action.

Regular nuclear reactors can have the facilities needed to produce weapons material.

Isn’t your OP saying they shouldn’t have any nuclear power and should be using solar and wind instead?

except make Israel pay the $$$$ or take the money from the allocations to the UN/NATO etc ........... the bombing costs enough and coordinate with our allies and get them in on it too (and Congress has to approve it, not a Trump decision)

other than that sure lets do it (but the money would never be spent on energy farms)

First of all you want to drop on civil facilities. All intelligent agencies, including the US, have determined Iran is not using those facilities for enriching weapon-grade uranium!

But for the sake of those who get a hard on by dropping bombs on brown people, let's assume they did....

There is a huge flaw with that, and it has been considered already

During the Bush II era, U.S. intelligence released a white paper claiming that Iran had developed extremely advanced anti–bunker buster defenses. So advanced, in fact, that conventional weapons would be ineffective against their nuclear facilities. Iran had over two decades to perfect this defensive infrastructure. The only guaranteed method to destroy those sites? Nuclear weapons.

Yes, nuclear weapons were seriously considered by the Bush administration. But ultimately, the idea was shelved—because even the warmongering hawks in the room realized the radioactive fallout would drift straight into Pakistan and China. Two nuclear-armed countries we really didn’t want to screw with.

So the neocon thirst for mushroom clouds was, mercifully, crushed by cooler heads.

But now we come to this administration—one that has openly declared its intent to dismantle democratically elected state governments ("Blue" states) over a few burned-out cars and protest graffiti. You really think they’d hesitate to push the red button? I wouldn’t put it past them.

And remember: we already had a nuclear deal with Iran (by giving them Thorium reactors, which can not make weapon-grade nuclear materials). It was forged under Obama—an imperfect but functional agreement. Then Trump tore it up like a toddler with a tantrum, signaling to Iran and the world that U.S. diplomacy is nothing but a gamble. Agreements made today can be erased tomorrow on a political whim.
