Hitler and Mussolini Were Right Wing.
Lots of right wingers try to claim Hitler and Mussolini Were left wing. When in reality they said they were right wing.
I am centre-left.
I am against the far-right.
I support democracy, peace, and the best of capitalism and socialism.

I would like to point out Hitler and Mussolini admitted themselves they were right wing.
This is a taken from a speech by Adolf Hitler, April 12, 1921
'There are only two possibilities in Germany; do not imagine that the people will forever go with the middle party, the party of compromises; one day it will turn to those who have most consistently foretold the coming ruin and have sought to dissociate themselves from it. And that party is either the Left: and then God help us! for it will lead us to complete destruction - to Bolshevism, or else it is a party of the Right which at the last, when the people is in utter despair, when it has lost all its spirit and has no longer any faith in anything, is determined for its part ruthlessly to seize the reins of power - that is the beginning of resistance of which I spoke a few minutes ago. Here, too, there can be no compromise - there are only two possibilities: either victory of the Aryan or annihilation of the Aryan and the victory of the Jew.'
So that shows that Hitler saw himself and his ideology as right wing.
Mussolini wrote in The Doctrine of Fascism, ‘doctrines pass; nations remain. We are free to believe that this is the century of authority, a century tending to the right, a Fascist century’..
So that shows Mussolini saw himself as right wing.

No, they were much closer to the left than the right: expansive government, centralized political authority, national industrial policy, anti-competition, anti-markets, and largely intolerant of differing political views.

Most of these is exactly what far right wants... Just like far left.

The parts you are wrong about are whether industry is nationalized or privatized. Far left wants them nationalized. Nazi's and far right wanted them privatized.

"When Adolf Hitler became Chancellor of Germany in 1933, he introduced policies aimed at improving the economy. The changes included privatization of state owned industries, import tariffs, and an attempt to achieve autarky (national economic self-sufficiency). ... after the Nazis took power, industries were privatized en masse. Several banks, shipyards, railway lines, shipping lines, welfare organizations, and more were privatized.[45] The Nazi government took the stance that enterprises should be in private hands wherever possible."

The left is not defined by intolerance to other views.
The left is not defined by central control.
The left is not at all defined by centralised political authority.
The right can do all those things and it does not stop them being right wing.

None of those are fundamentally left or right wing policies. In a cultural and social sense, Nazi Germany and fascist Italy were extremely conservative. In a political sense, it was a bit more complicated than that. But they were certainly not leftists.

I have made a poll for that now

They actively tried to murder as many leftists as they could catch.

That is ridiculous. The state controlled Nazi Germany's industries. Can you imagine a CEO of that era saying "Sorry, Adoph, but I'm not going to do what you're asking me to do with my company."

No, much like today's American liberals, they favored a large, authoritative central government and only differ by a matter of degree. What the Nazis were is miles away from the policies of smaller government, free markets, and individual liberty of most (though I will not claim all) conservatives.

The only form of competition they favored.

Uh....no. The Nazis were more than happy to have the SS and Wehrmacht compete for resources, as did all three branches of the military. They also closely aligned themselves with Germany’s industrialists and noblemen— which alone is enough to eliminate claims of being “left wing”.

There were many cases where German companies refused government contracts, even during the war. The Nazis generally preferred to use financial incentives to get private industry on their side, and seldom resorted to outright coercion.

Tell us about Socialism and Communism.

Are we not talking about this in another thread just now?

Would you say the Nazis were closer to people who advocate for larger, stronger government or those who call for smaller, more limited government?

“Smaller, more limited government” is nothing more than a call for “larger, stronger government” at the state level.

American conservatives of the day loved the Nazis and their “crusade against communism”.

"I'm sorry, Hier Himmler. No means no, and you're just going to have to accept that. Now I ask you to please leave my office and not return ... and take your armed escort with you."

Having a large, authoritative central government is neither fundamentally a right wing nor a left wing policy. It can be either. The fact that there are both conservatives and liberals who advocate such a government form ought to clue you into that.

As for the economy of Nazi Germany, it was somewhere in between the command economy of the Society Union, and the capitalist economy of the United States, sharing features of both, but aligning perfectly with neither.

Some fool is bound to pop on here at some point and remind us that Hitler was a Leftist because..........
National Socialist German Workers' Party

Wanna bet?

Those Righties who still are repeating this mantra, maybe they should read some history:

"I'm sorry, Hier Himmler. No means no, and you're just going to have to accept that. Now I ask you to please leave my office and not return ... and take your armed escort with you."

This just tells me that you don't really know anything about the economic history of Nazi Germany. There were many times that private industries refused government contracts. The Germans did not exercise complete and total control over their economy like the Soviets did. It just wasn't like that. They relied on financial incentives to get private industry on their side
