I'm just surprised to learn that the President of the United States has no responsibility to try to address inflation, gas prices, oil prices/supply, trade and supply chain issues, etc., because these are all global issues about which Presidents and Democrats are powerless to act. Something seems to have changed, since in 2017 to early 2021, every pothole in the country was squarely the responsibility of the Commander In Chief. Funny how the role of the President changes, depending on who lives in the white house.

There is a movement in heavily Republican states and districts for Democrats to change their party affiliations in order to vote in Republican primaries. These are areas where a Democrat doesn't have a chance of winning.
