Minnesota suspected assassin Vance Boelter captured alive after intense manhunt for fatal shooting of Dem pol, spouse: report

If Dems had any brains and spine they’d be yelling about his responsibility for this assassination and the assassination attempt.

Of course you do realize that's what this thread is all about, and I'll interpret your statement as being aimed at people in the House and Senate.
I believe more than a few of them are largely still under the delusion that this is all just a momentary snag which will resolve itself with "better policy".
Oh and, a few more "strongly worded letters" from Chuck Schumer.

As usual, some are jumping the shark. No federal charges yet.

Seems very improbable that any president, especially President Trump, would pardon an assassin.
This line of thought has completely taken me by surprise honestly.

There's absolutely no way Trump would pardon this murderer. No way.

There's a lot of incendiary rhetoric going on with all sides right now.

No, I don't like the nonsense I hear on the right, but I don't like people beating up cops, burning cars, and flying Mexican flags, either,

You're not quite sure that the folks trying to beat up cops and set fires are the same ones doing the peaceful protesting, right?
You sorta kinda think that they're all the same people, right?
PS: What if I were to fly an Italian flag, is that okay? My mother was an illegal alien from Musso's Italy, is that okay?

Hoover led the Gangster Disciples and was convicted in a 1973 murder in Illinois, court documents say. While serving up to 200 years for the crime, he was convicted of several federal crimes associated with continuing to run the gang from prison, tacking on a life sentence in 1997.

Careful you'll get lumped in with me and the other "both siders". 😜

Yeah, I don't know that I get that pardon, but it's a completely different level than what we're talking about.

That guy has a long political history. There have been people advocating for a pardon for him for years.

And he's 74 years old, has spent the last 30 years in jail, I think, and he's still there. So those details make this a little different than pardoning murder charges for a execution (and attempted) of political leaders and their families.

That's not going to happen.

But I have some ranch dressing and Sriracha if I have to eat one of my shoes. Trump does do crazy shit from time to time, but he's not going to do that.

Reminds me of the cartoon of Mom reading a bedtime story to her kid and the kid says "Oh come on Mom no one is THAT stupid!"
Sorry but I beg to differ.

This is a point that I hold dear and it's been happening in this thread that the actions of what this guy did are because he's a "fundy" Christian or because he's right wing. And if the story had been different there'd be a bunch of people saying it was because he was a Democrat and he was probably going to the no king's conference.

I get it, and I don't know why I want to be all Don Quixote about it. We like to pin the things we hate on the people that we hate. It's a sport here. It's just a sport that I dislike when there's so many important things to talk about.
PS: What if I were to fly an Italian flag, is that okay? My mother was an illegal alien from Musso's Italy, is that okay?
Yes. It is your right to do so.

Lolol, both sideeeeeees! Pay no attention to the Republican killing Democrats! Booooth sidees.

How embarrasing.
I could never.

😇

Which news agency? The FBI just said at their news conference that they would not be releasing the list at this time.

This is the only person who reported it but it’s been called into question.

For example, Dean Phillips said his name was on the list but his name doesn’t appear on the list from that person.

I'm afraid I am not aware of what an assassins bio looks like. Assassination is simply a term applied to the murder of a prominent person or politician for political reasons. It's not like he was a paid assassin or something. I think he just had it in for these people who he saw as thwarting his conservative agenda.

This is the only person who reported it but it’s been called into question.
I don't think it's legit . The FBI was very clear in saying that they were not prepared to release the list as this time. I can see why they wouldn't release such a list. Who knows who it might trigger.

Is this accurate, he was appointed by Tim Walz? Hardly seems that would make him a conservative.

One again you don't know where you are. Quick, look over your shoulder. Background is critical when searching for the truth. That is assuming you were actually searching. Can't know where you are going if you don't know where you are. Why would anyone follow you when you never seem to know where you are?

The board Boelter was on is a workforce development board of approximately 60 appointees from all over the state of Minnesota.

It's doubtful Watz even knew who Boelter was. The board's mission is to make recommendations to appropriate legislative committees. Not at all a political power board people beg to join.

However, the sources in your limited information silo told you that you should be concerned that Boelter was appointed by Walz and without conducting any background check you bought into the bullshit. That's stupid and meaningless. Once again you've been had and you don't know where you are.

Yeah, I'm all for information being free and out there, but there's a time for it. I wouldn't say the time is now.

Remember that Trump has pardoned the most repulsive and violent people, so why would he not do it in this instance?
Presidents can’t pardon state crimes.

Yeah, I don't know that I get that pardon, but it's a completely different level than what we're talking about.
No, its murder, not a different thing.
That guy has a long political history. There have been people advocating for a pardon for him for years.
He is a murderer, you keep avoiding the point.
And he's 74 years old, has spent the last 30 years in jail, I think, and he's still there. So those details make this a little different than pardoning murder charges for a execution (and attempted) of political leaders and their families.
Um, it doesn't change the point, he is a murderer that Donny pardonned.
That's not going to happen.
It has happened.
But I have some ranch dressing and Sriracha if I have to eat one of my shoes. Trump does do crazy shit from time to time, but he's not going to do that.
He did that.

As I posted a few times, Fox News and Newsmax doesn't even have this as their top story.

A guy went on a rampage and was trying to assassinate a bunch of Democrats, shot two, and that's not the top story for those two entities.

Media don't like inconvenient narratives.

If people don't think far right wing media is complicit in many of our problems than they're lying to themselves.
It's not always the lies they tell, it's the stories they ignore as well. Or de-emphasize.

Cool, so, MSM are to blame for the terror attacks on jews lately?

And Trump attacks democrats tonight in another unhinged social media post.

If Dems had any brains and spine they’d be yelling about his responsibility for this assassination and the assassination attempt.

This is what being a vile subhuman fascist looks like.

He’s responsible for their deaths and the attacks at protests yesterday and he’ll be repulsive for the future ones coming from his psychotic supporters.

Buh buh muh systums! The constartution will save us! Tradishuns!

Prediction: when Trump supporters ultimately fail to create a convincing story trying to portray Vance Boelter as a Leftist they will immediately transition to portraying Vance Boelter as a sympathetic victim, and the Democratic lawmakers he targeted as being deserving targets.
Interesting. You think he'll get the Full Luigi Mangione?

Um, no, this guy had issues that were far beyond his political leanings. It appears he was MAGA, but he also dipped his toe in the Democratic pond.

So we will see a bunch of people all try to pin him on the other side. This is what they did with Thomas Crooks (the guy who shot at Trump) where a one time $15.00 donation to ACT BLUE supposedly made him a Deep State Operative.

Look how many bizarre conspiracy theories still float around the JFK assassination, where Oswald was supposedly working for the KGB, FBI, CIA, Cuban Exiles, the Mafia and the Roswell Aliens.
Omagad centrist lulz. Its not like this hasnt happened before and we cant possibly know what motivated him lol!

Hum…he had a bunch of papers with “No Kings” written on them in his car. Seems he was a fan.
Or he was going to use them to infiltrate a rally and then use one of his AK on them. They are pretty rudimentary, I bet he made them himself.
