With respect, what i get is perspectives from a Palestinian point of view and what their fears are in terms of peace activists and just ordinary people. That is not really what i get from them. The IDF is not seen by palestinians as a liberating force, on the contrary. They see them as deeply tied to Israel’s settler colonial movement. This is after years of constant blockade/

The IDF exists to provide security to the citizens of Israel not to provide liberty to the Palestinians.
If the Palestinians don't shake off the extremist Islamist terrorist nutjobs who control them for a reason they won't ever get any liberty even if Israel is (as they can continue imagining) destroyed and no longer exists and all Jews are dead.
