Yep, just as I don't care that Neil Young is a lefty moron when I like and buy some of his music. The idea that one supports the lifestyle of a performer by buying their music is a bridge too far to get me to join a boycott. When I am hired to build a deck or fix a roof the customer is not paying me to swill beer at my favorite watering hole or to "live in sin" with my girlfriend - they are paying me for the specific service that I provided to them.

You just claimed I said something I didn't. I'm going to move on from that and address the overall point. Christians love forgiveness stories. In many cases they are desperate for them. There is a reason why redemption stories are the best sellers when it comes to Christian books. People who want to make money understand this, and in many cases, such as Ben Carson, they fabricate sins that they committed early in their life so they can sell books.

I believe Cyrus may try to do a similar thing. Maybe she cleans up her image because the trashy stuff stopped making so much money, and now she is looking to make some money off of her redemption story.

Well, it's not like you have to be a GOPer to bash hip hop. A significant portion of hip hop is utter trash and has a horrible culture.
