There is a different standard for politicians, who we select for power, and commentators including musicians and comics - while I wouldn't mind a venue cancelling those for the right reason, I wouldn't push for it usually unless they were pretty extreme. Mike Pence has promoted bigotry for decades and enabled the most harmful president in history, and I'm happy for him to be shunned for it.

Pence believes in conversion therapy for gay people which is torture for them. So you approve of that since you would vote for him.
