This is the problem right here. People do not give a **** about other people. The technical word for this is empathy. Our society is the most un-empathetic society on this planet, because our culture sends the messages and values of self-maximization. A study found that toddlers at just six months, can recognize certain companies and their logos they have seen so many advertisements. That is at six months! What do you think this would imply by the age of six years? These messages and values have a huge impact on how we think and feel, and we start to see that it is okay to exploit others for our "self-interests."

It's disgusting and beyond selfish. No wonder why two planes rammed into the world trade center.

We are also in opposition with Britain despite what seems to be camaraderie. At least in terms of securing oil for ourselves. But this is my point. Why is this not news? They are lying to our face, we know it, and it's like..shrug. The economy is bad, were in debt, we're spending trillions on war...who cares. I got better things to argue about...
